Missing from this weekend's games

[Just do something]

I was just getting my girls into bed and was looking at the team photo that you get in the sun every year.

Going through and counting all players who didn't play either seniors or reserves either due to injury,suspension,resting etc we had 14.

That is a big list when you think about it. Now i understand we rest blokes in the 2s to help there development etc but it makes you think what it would be like if we only had 2 or 3 blokes unavailable.

But for this season and 2013 we have the following blokes who need to be playing.

Varcoe, Menzel, Wojak, Scarlett, Byrnes (questionable best 22), Christensen, Simpson (questionable best 22), Vardy (fit, he's in our best 22).

But for this season and 2013 we have the following blokes who need to be playing.

Not best 22 but I'm talking more 14 players from our whole squad. Its just alot to have not play etc in one weekend of football from a club.

You could say 6 possible senior players and 8 seconds players.

I know, it's one reason why the doubt in this forum is so strong. We simply aren't use to seeing all these new faces all at once.

It's really a dramatic inclusion of youth Scott has been using this season. I really like it because he's not only given senior players extra rest but we are getting valuable practice into those boys but he will most likely start playing the usual suspects in a few weeks time and they should be ready to give a massive effort in the 2nd half of the season.

Perhaps our current 4-4 predicament is a little better than what it could be considering the inexperience of the team?

I think you are on the money there.
If you look at the amount of talent and experience we have out of the team at the moment really alters our structure.

The biggest one for me is the loss of both wojcinski and varcoe at the same time as we dont have any quick outside running players to compensate for them and it really mucks things up - in some respects I think Johnson has been plugging this hole and he is both not the right player and isnt as dangerous as he is up forward.

We just need to do whatever we can to get over the line and get these blokes back on the park - the second half of the season could be much much different.
