Three home defeats in a row for the Braves including a 7-1 loss to the Cubs and 9-1 loss to the Padres.

Philly are now 5 games clear on top of the NL East but have played 6 more games.

As a team the Braves hit 307 home runs last season to lead the league, this year they are 19th with only 43. They also had a SLG over 500, this season its just above 400.

The whole batting line up is horribly out of form including Ozuna who started the season so well but has been quiet the last week.

Doesn’t help when haven’t really changed the line up this season. Expecting Acuna and Olson to keep their insane 2023 season stats every year.
Olson batting .222, 5 HR and 23 RBIs
Acuna .242, 3 HRs and 11 RBIs

Good news for Australian baseball with LHP Jack O'Loughlin getting called up from Triple-A by the Oakland Athletics and making his MLB debut for the A's in their loss to the Astros this morning. O'Loughlin is the 38th Australian MLB player in history. He got Astros' Jon Singleton to strike out looking for his first ever MLB strikeout.
