Why would someone put so much effort into trying to be funny at the expense of the club? Are you trying to become the next Jerry Seinfeld ?

Look, I'm known as the resident Club sycophant - and even I find these incredibly funny! I also know that many of the characters involved in these transcripts at the Club have been getting a few giggles out of them too.

Jenny 61, I'm not saying that Carl's transcripts aren't funny and if they were directed at another club I would lmao but I feel some people are not showing any faith in or respect for the club anymore and I wonder what they'll do when the club turns things around, perhaps lick egg off each others faces, lol.

I thank Carl and some of the others for making me laugh - otherwise I would be crying uncontrollably at how my team has gone from a pre season top four certainty to an almost wooden spoon certainty.

Like someone in the Club who has seen these transcripts said to me - you either laugh or you cry (about the current situation). THANK GOD for Carl, I say. Can't get enough laughter at times like these.

I have more faith for my Club than just about anyone else in here - and get constantly slammed for doing so. But dude, they ARE funny. You need to lighten up a little.

As for whose voice I "hear" when I read these, I've got to say I hear the owners of said voices - makes it so much more effective! (Am a huge fan of Yes Minister/Prime Minister and Sir Humphrey, but really, hearing Craigy "telling his jokes" and listening to Bicks "crack up" is just gold!

Jenny, your probably right, I may need to lighten up a little but I live in Melbourne and listen to too much radio where they are loving shooting the Adelaide Football Club to pieces but guess where they are getting their ammunition.

Simple fact is buddy - we have been abyssmal this season (whatever the reasons).

Far below the expectations we have set for oureslves - and then we've made targets of ourselves by our handling of some sensitive issues e.g. edwards retirement.

That's just life. If we truely have faith and hope in our club to rise above it, then surely we can look past the media view of our club? I personally see the scrutiny and debate as healthy for the evolution of our club. Laughing a little along the way helps alot!

One thing most of us, who have lived in Adelaide for long periods of time, have is a sligthly defensive edge to outside criticism aka chip on the shoulder/inferiority complex. Let's rise above it
(i.e. I still can't believe we have ads that bitch about losing the Grand Prix.. ffs let it goooooooooo!)
