Even people on a forum on the internet have feelings Reginald.
Sometimes those feelings are best kept to yourself, especially if it's about a situation that may never arise.

No joke. No exaggeration. Would have no respect whatsoever for anyone that left because they didn't get a game in a grand final side after 3 knee reco's and several years out.
I'd deadset hope Mora punches you in the face if he heard you wishing him another year on one leg with a 4th reco. But I don't take pleasure in your facial injury or wish it upon you, but all the same - it'd make my day.

... if that makes even the slightest of sense.

i think eddy took mora's movement rumour too personnally ... bad post and i do not think anyone should enjoy the "irony" ... he apologized and obviously having a bad day, he didn't have to cancel his account :(
Agreed. No need to cancel, everybody makes mistakes. Acknowledging it and making an apology was a bigger move than most make on these boards.

Gary Ablett jnr. owed the cats nothing.

Buddy owed the hawks nothing.

I reckon a 20 game in 4 years, 3x knee reco 23 year old owes the club who kept him on a list that long everything. (Figures guesstimated)

Freo could have delisted him after his 2nd reco and not one head would have turned. I would go so far as to say they logically should have after his 3rd, but still they didn't. Do you think he'd have got another chance somewhere else if they did?

I think without Freo he would not be on an AFL list and therefore owes everything to the club. If he left I would deadset hope his knee goes before his first game back such would be the level of filth I would feel towards him.

Idiotic! One of the worst posts this year and there have been some shockers.

I guess he wasn't joking when he said you hurt his feelings, Reg;)
I may have read that post wrong. I thought he was talking about his feelings toward Mora. Oh well, back to being the bad guy again.

Well someone has got to pick up the slack with Bushie on holidays.

Ready in two weeks, plus some prescription sunnies.

The optometrist reckons I have unusually high eye pressure though, so hopefully not glaucoma.

A few people have suggested that Morra may be a secret weapon for the finals - while I usually discount such theories, I think this one may have merit - as I can come up with no other truly compelling reason for Morra spending so long on the sidelines.

I'm trying to think of ANY player, of Morra's calibre, playing for any other team, that DOESN'T already feature in a large body of recent game footage... and I can't think of one. Can anyone else think of a similar candidate? (...even raw, exciting rookies like Jack Martin would have more recent footage of their performance than Morra does)

While we curse the ABC for robbing us of regular footage of Peel players in action, in the case of Morra it's worked to his and Freo's benefit: Nobody outside of Freo's coaching team really knows for sure just how well Morra is meeting his KPIs, nor how well he might therefore perform at AFL level. He is a total unknown all over again.

If an opposing team is threatened by Morra's potential to influence a game (and so they should be) having little to no recent game footage on him makes their tagging job far more difficult. The fact that training today was closed to the media, and that Morra performed well at training, also makes me suspect this might be some small part of RTB's thinking.

...If I'm right ...it's almost worth our training and WAFL watchers DELIBERATELY NOT mentioning how well Morra is or isn't doing in training and games. The people who have:

- the best outside perspective of Morra's true progress,
- who can comment intelligently, objectively and accurately on his skills and roles
- who constantly follow his every move
- and are most likely to talk about it in public, and thereby accurately inform the enemy on his progress...

...is US!

What does everyone think - is it time for us to do our part in make Morra's true progress at games and training a well kept secret (you know - by internet standards that is... I am semi-serious here. And of course this is all assuming Morra isn't picked tomorrow - if he is, then you know... YAY! :) )

All thoughts welcome.

I think the training watchers have already done a damn fine job of hiding the fact that Mora lost 6.5 cm of height during his knee operations and now has a playing weight of only 82 kgs.

Mate i think the tagging jobs always go to FYFE

he weighs 82kg of Muscle just in his thigh muscles
A slight exaggeration.

Anyway, his thigh muscles haven't developed evenly which causes him to run in a natural arc which he has to correct with a blind turn every second bounce. How the hell are the opposition going to cope with that?
