Dion Woods. Many of yous guys wouldnt have even heard of him last season but has come on leaps and bounds this season .

I think that ever since the Brisbane game, Brett Voss has been a shining light in the Saints backline. He has gone selflessly in to contests, is extremely strong overhead and can play tall or small. I think that ever since his big brother gave away that off the ball free kick for puching him, he has become a changed player. He doesnt get the credit he deserves.

Ian Perrie would be Adelaide's nominee.

But he probably hasn't starred like those in the poll.

Would have thought McGregor would have been Adelaides most improved, would probably be in their top 3 players this year.

From the list, Brogan

From the "others" Fevola

definately Embley - he would've been delisted at the end of this year, if not next year for sure, but instead he's turned himself into one of the best 5 players at the club, and wasn't far off AA before he got injured IMO.

At the Tigers it's got to be Mark Coghlan...:) :D

Totally agree, has come on along way since last year.

Jude Bolton and Brett Kirk have done a fantastic job to fill the hole in the swans midfield that paul kelly and wayne schwass left.

No suprise that he hasn't been mentioned yet, but i'd Think most Hawthorn supporters would agree with Kris Barlow. He is a very underated footballer, had a pretty good season mainly since been switched to the back line where he has been outstanding.

Last year Mark Coughlan already had the looks of a bloke who was going to be a gun, and he certainly hasn't disappointed.

Mark Bolton from Essendon is one who looks a different player from years gone by.

Josh Fraser would be up there as a massive improver, but so he should.

Chris Newman and Ty Zantuck are 2 who are now very solid players.

For North it would have to be Brady Rawlings and Shannon Watt. Still a long way to go, but they are finally looking like self-assured AFL players.

Drew Petrie and Daniel Motlop both also took steps forward, but they were always going to.

Matty Scarlett took another leap as well.

Although he was still a sensational backmen last year, he's turned into the best in the competition this season, IMO.

Yep, he and Ablett took one almightly leap this year.

Kenny's big jump in improvement started last year, but granted he has been even better this year consistency-wise.

Crows biggest improvers have been Shirley & Perrie, who appeared to be in their last year on the list prior to 2003.

The other big improvers have been mentioned - Embley, Brogan, Fevola, Kirk, Hadrill, Coughlin, B Rawlings, etc

In Collingwood:
Shaw: Has improved from "MUST DELIST" to automatic selection.
Fraser
Tarrant - although he always had the potential, he looked disinterested last year and didn't work as hard
O'Bree
Burns - 2002 was great, 2003 is better
Shaw was never a must delist. He did improve a lot this year though. O'Bree was better in 2001 than 2003 but his 2002 was ordinary (due mainly to injury). Burns has been no better this year than last year. He just gets more media attention now. Burns was Collingwood's best and most effective player last year. Fraser and Tarrant have been significantly better than last year.

The one who has also been a lot better than last year, strangely enough, is Buckley. He ahd his worst season at Collingwood last year (still pretty good) and his best this year bearing in mind he plays a very different role than his early years whetre he played a lot more open football.

There have been a few dissapointment too but that's another topic.

Outside of Collingwood Fervola has to have been the biggest improver. Brogan would be next IMO.

gavin Wanganeed???
Yeah he is good and probly improved on his form last year but he won a brownlow for crying out loud...
