They didn't choke, they had a lot of injuries.

Carlton for the spoon:thumbsu:
can't deal with injuries. Coaches fault, puts his players through that sort of training. I can't see him doing that again any time soon.

And if anyone wants to put money on that carlton wont win the spoon and adelaide wont win the flag. give me a call

Cant deal with injuries? Coaches fault? Oh dear :o You know nothing about AFL Football. There were only a couple of soft tissue injuries (hamstrings) one in particular was Burton and they COULD have something to do with the coaches training programme but the majority of Adelaide's injuries weren't related to Craig. Biglands doing his knee during a game... Hentschel getting tackled and doing his knee during the game.... McLeod's infected foot.... Roo contracting parvo virus... van Berlo breaking collarbone going in for a hard ball get... Hudson doing his knee during the game... Obviously you are clueless if you think all of our injuries were Craig's fault :o

Who Is Most Likely To Win A Premiership In 4 Years?
I Think...

Richmond is Favoured To Win in 4 Years, Rumours Say Demons Are Going To Slide. Adelaide Will Slide As Well,
Essendon Will Do Amazing Same as Carlton, West Coast And Sydney Will Make The Top 8, Geelong, Hawthorn and Bulldogs Will Do Crap, Roos Will Make the Top 6. Fremantle Will Be Minor Premiers And The After 2010 In 2011 They Will Win The Premiership. Collingwood Will Come About 7th Maybe. Saints, Port And Bris, They Will Be The 11th, 10th And 9th Spot.

2007: Geelong Premiers
2008: Hawthorn Premiers

Looks like it's your turn Doggies in 2009. ;)

Because of Hawthorn's coach they may find it a little harder than some other clubs in plucking stars with later picks simply due to inexperience and being unproven. Luckily though they've had enough early rounders to accomodate for this perceived weakness IMO so they have the potential to be up there.

It's players like Pearce (didn't even get drafted) and Andrew Raines (very late pick, about mid-70's) that will determine how good a club is going to be - not just their prized top 10 selections (sorry Saints).

I know that was meant to be a backhander, but you're right, it was our Rookie and PSD picks that proved the difference on GF day.:thumbsu:

wow this is amazing in hindsight. His bottom 3 was the top 3 this year lol and the bottom 3 this year - 2 of them were his favourites or up the top anyway.

His prediction still has hope though, richmond, carlton and essendon could all possibly have a shot in 2010 which is 4 years from when the prediction was made.
