Surgery on his knee. Won't start training again until the new year.

Desn't seem that serious. Won't train for the next few weeks then start doing light running before the Christmas break.

I'm worried about his knees in the long term because he has such a big frame to carry around. Plus he has a bash and crash game style.

It's not the ideal prep, anyone who has a delayed pre season start takes time in the main season to get going.

While it sounds ok doubt the one ruckman theory some had going with the new bench rules will not apply to the first few rounds at any rate.
