Just heard an interview with KB and Murph on SEN.

He said his shoulder is fine, he has been doing full training and full contact for months now with no problems at all.
He is 3-4 Kg's heavier than this time last year, and feeling more confident throwing himself into packs.
He said that Gibbs has settled in really well and hasn't needed much help adjusting. They have a regular pocker night with Austin and some of the other boys at Murphs house.
Gibbs has been staying with Austin at ?? someones house (missed the name), and both are training well.

On the practice match when asked about standouts:
Hampson - took some good grabs
Jacobs - was quite good in the ruck
Ackland, Gibbs, and Fev all stood out as well.

When asked about Cam Cloke, said that he seems to be doing O.K. with his shoulder, and has it strapped for precautions.

On the talk surrounding the capataincy, Murph reeled out one of the finest cliche's in footy - he's just looking to hold his spot in the team week by week and is looking towards some success. He would be honoured if he was asked to be in the leadership group down the track, but isn't really thinking about it.

GO BLUES!!!

I don't think they keep audio of interviews. I think you can listen live but if you miss it that's it.

Mark Doran Plays a replay at 3. Overnoighters play it about 4 in the morning. Listen online and grab the audio.

:thumbsu: Good to hear he's travelling well. Just as an aside, I love the competition between Gibbs and Murphy... (I read somewhere from someone's training report that Murphy was signing stuff after training one day, but his boots were still on the ground, so Gibbs went back and picked them up, put them in the bin).

Good that they get along so well.

I'm loving this club more and more as the days tick down to the first game of footy.

They certainly seem to be building quite a friendship both on and off the ground.

How is this going to sound in a year or so?

Umpire, bounces in the middle, Hampson, down to Murphy, quick hands to Gibbs, and Gibbs finds Fevola on the chest without breaking stride 30m out, right in front

Sorry I didn't get all the interview, I only made some comments on the interesting bits.
KB asked Marc some questions about following in his fathers footsteps, re being a B & F a number of times (3 I think), Marc brushed it off as the silly question that it was........i.e. do you think you will do the same.........

Marc sounded a bit flat during the interview, but the questions were a bit hit and miss.

All the interesting bits were posted.
He handled KB very well and will be in the leadership group in a year or two.
