I got that and Roughead wouldn't have been Richmond's pick if they had have pick two in last year's draft.It doesn't mean Murphy isn't the best talent available because a recruiting manager likes a certain type of player.

Deledio's a gun with his pace, ability overhead and kicking, but Carlton may have preferred Griffen's leadership and toughness like the Dogs.

However, you Carlton people always jump on anyone slightly implying anything about Murphy. No doubt he will be a quality player however I imagine that clubs would be unsure about taking a player of his height and pace (I know he isnt slow but he isnt especially quick) at pick 1. I realise he is footy smart etc

Murphy has been told, its unofficially official (yes thats a contradiction but you know what i mean). Carlton fans have the right to include him in their 2006 predictions/teams etc
