Anyone provide any clarity on the allegation that the league / league tribunal chairman contacted a club in an attempt to collude an outcome, in reference to a tribunal matter held this past Wednesday night ?

WOW!! TRIB this is an incredible suggestion!!.... a tribunal hearing Wednesday night involved Rumba and Barooga, over an incident that involved a Rumba player striking a Barooga player. Not sure if it was the only hearing but...... and I can tell you the Chair nor the league certainly didn’t contact our (Rumba) club to offer any kind of assistance or contact at all other then a notice to appear, let alone have any kind of conversation, so I can only assume you suggesting that the chair or league contacted Cobram to influence/premeditate some kind of outcome....... very interesting position though, can you shed anymore light on the allegations you’ve heard? I’d be very interested to follow it up??

Why Cobram?

Definately no suggestion of wrong doing by Rumba.

Allegedly, what we are suggesting is that a league offical contacted the Barooga FC to to influence a result for the pending hearing..... can’t imagine it would of been to get them to throw out the case, given it was the umpires that initiated the notice and not the club..... it would be interesting to know if this is a special case of interference, or common practice by the league/official ..... seems very dodgy to me either way.......but, at this stage, it is just speculation....

Please explain from a watcher from a far
Sorry, was a bit abstract. In the early 2000s, Melbourne Storm player Danny Williams king hit an opponent. Claimed he was suffering post traumatic amnesia at the time.

Are you sure your facts are right? Check with the football club, not Echuca United, but with Nathalia. Then comment.

So we know that the Kyabram, Murray and Picola leagues have all expressed an interest in having a two-tiered set-up for season 2020.
Whether these leagues are talking geographical or divisional set-ups remains to be seen.

Who should the MFL look at including to make it a two-tired competition and should it be regional or a divisional format?

So is there a legitimate reason for all of this leagues dividing up, why are they wanting to always change things up? All leagues are fine in there own little ways, is it a money thing? Or do people just want change?

I think all three leagues are trying to ensure they are strong and the more clubs they have the better.

If a league has eight clubs then they begin being open to vulnerability if clubs are struggling, especially if they lose a club and go to seven. That's when the remaining clubs eye off neighbouring leagues and there is constant talk of disbandment. The Alberton league has been suffering this fate for the past couple of years and it has been a sad saga as it staggers along with six clubs, with no guarantee of being resolved in the next few months.

The impending demise of the Golden Rivers league and the Alberton league are examples of how fragile country competitions can be.

Yeah that’s fair enough but Murray league has 14 clubs, picola has 13 and ky has 15, understand ky and picola have struggling clubs which is understandable with the current situation with farming at the moment affecting hugely with the little communities, just seems Murray is in a reasonable position with all the clubs being successful in there own ways, just don’t see the need in change, not yet anyway.

How do you determine that kyabram and picola have clubs struggling yet murray don't ?

U have auskick kids making up numbers in the 4ths. Is that indication.
Do you really think it is not common knowledge that MFL clubs are struggling for player numbers including in the 4ths ?
Do you know there is a minimum age on sportstg ?
Correct me if I am wrong but I beleive there have been two players from the region named in all australian junior teams this year and both started their careers in the picola league
