I don't think this will be my final team after trades this week, but I did put this together.
12 trades left. Too many mid-pricers of course.
Who'da thunk Pendles would be the weak spot?

I rate it mate, good side. With 12 trades left you can cover injuries AND upgrade your weakest links. Pendles to a round 12 bye mid premo next week and you'll laughing with 10 trades left

Lockdown Babies

Jiath
Tex
Atkins
Heppell
Impey

These are not real footballers...they may look real to some, but mark my words they are just mid season bubble wrap. Fluff. Flotsam.
There are more of course but i'll concentrate on these for the moment.

Noone will finish top 100 with more than 1 of these assorted bin chickens hidden away at D6 M6 F6.

I wouldnt be seen posting a complete team until i've got every line covered in expensive primadonna's.

Thanx
As u were.
Errrrrrrr

Impey can't be relied on if you're serious about a complete team.
His SC History is woefull too.
Impey was a small forward
He moved to half back after a few rounds in 2019 and averaged about 85 for those games
He then did his ACL

Your logic is flawed. Players DO breakout, history is not the be all and end all

Hall is a good example after a role change, same with Bailey Dale:

Petracca averaged 70 and 80 playing as a forward, then he moved to the midfield, now he's a guaranteed 100+ midfielder

etc etc

It doesn't look like Impey's role has changed and his 5 round avg is still 85, which is fine for a cheap F6. Obviously if he scores 60 for 3 or 4 weeks in a row we need to be worried, but there's nothing to suggest that would happen

You don't own Impey, so you missed out on one of the picks of the season, you could have had a 93 average from 11 consecutive games, for just $200k, so don't be bitter and try to convince us he's not a keeper :)

Also if you're only picking forward premos this season based on history, then you'd only have Ziebell, Dusty and Zorko, and then 3 injured players, because Dale, Hind, Bolton and Hall don't have premo scoring history

lol all you flogs fighting over the definition of a premo like it matters.

They're all gonna get injured and games will get postponed anyway. You'll all be worshipping your new F1 and F2 masters Ziegull and ****en Aaron ****en Hall chols like your seasons depended on it in a few weeks.

And you'll ****en like it :moustache:

I think if you actually wanted to work out a reasonable definition of a "full premo team", the supercoachdata guy could provide an answer, or at least data to inform an answer. He could show the range of the averages of the worst on-field fwd, mid or def for the top 10,000 or 20,000. That would show how realistic/unrealistic certain views are.

Personally, I think it's pretty rare to get a team with all genuine top-end premos. I think full premium is just no rookies. Then to assess you good it is, you just take the average of the 22.

I won't be here for a few weeks. Next week i should have 21 premos (non-rookies), but might be another two weeks to get the last one.

This thread is a fallacy because no campaigner will actually end up with a true finished side.

Gotta make the most of what ya got these days.
Ohh how I long for those GWS/SUNS rookies days.
I could drunk trade like Judd_Magic and still end up with a better team than this year's bullshit.

Exactly why we need more stamps than just complete and incomplete.

But But But Mr b
That all sounds tremendous and it is inspiring me with confidence, but i own him and in absolutely no doubt that he'll need upgrading.

His papers are stamped :p

My highest ever overall SC finish came in the year that I started the season with these splendid kents as my midfield. Pretty sure I held most of them all season too. M3 Gus Brayshaw ended up M9. Was ranked as high as Top250 in Rd21 :moustache:

In an ideal world we'd have enough trades and cash to upgrade these value picks to super premos but we don't so will probably have to hold onto one or two of them and hope they do OK

Sure..i'm not denying i once limped across the line with all 3 of Mitch Robinson Jarrod Harbrow and Missy Higgins. These days though should i say it was complete ?
I'm merely pointing out the word complete implies actual completion of what you set out to do.
For some that has come to simply mean (wrongly) no onfield rooks left (but still a few dismal clingons that will need upgrading). For most though it implies a decent competitive team you're pretty damn happy with.

Complete (the verb) definition

finish making or doing

Am i being pedantic ?
No need to answer that
