Comrades, as the most accurate tipper on our board - and much the same could be said of my Wishlist for the season past - here is my updated list for 2012.

they are as safe as a bank :thumbsu:
  • Someone to make a necklace of Judas' teeth after we play GWS at the 'G
  • Two wins at Etihad Stadium
  • One win against either the Dogs or the Saints and preferably both - they're on the downwards slope and we have not beaten them for sometime.
  • Tom McDonald to became a permanent fixture in the XVIII. I've got a feeling about this guy.
  • Mitch Clark to kick 40
  • Jack Watts to pass the taxi-driver beater.
  • Dees to finish 8th
  • Steff Martin to become one of the leading ruckmen in the league
  • Biff to start looking like Steff Martin (hint: gag).
  • MFC to make a statement at the Handbaggery
  • Brick Mclean - another Judas, albeit with feet of cement, to be cast adrift by the Cheats at the end of the year.
And here is a freebie for my friend Rude:
  • James Sellar to be the steal of the draft . . . . .
Your thoughts please?

That is a very good list Biff. I reckon there's a strong case for many of those scenarios playing out.

My wish list...

Jimmy to be here of course

Scully plays against us at the G - so that when I am out on the ground waiting to put the banner up I can give him the bird when GWS come out. (providing Scully plays, that's one wish coming true :p)

To beat North, Footscray and St Kilda

Dees to make the finals, then win one

Clark, Watts, Jurrah contribute over 35 goals, midfield contributes an average of 15 goals per player

Melbourne's statement game on Queen's Birthday, Carlton game close second, Geelong game close third

A competitive performance against the Cats

Trengove top 10 at the Brownlow, Moloney top 5

Players to PLAY FOR THE JUMPER. Didn't seem to be the case at times last year.

Stefan Martin gets an unlikely AA gig

At least one win at Etihad.

Good list. No. 1 sounds tantalising.

What's the bet he comes up with a bit of General Soreness that week? He couldn't face Jim to tell him about his "decision", how would he face the whole team?

That's the one bad thing about the whole idea... oh well... I'm still going to give GWS the bird anyway. :)

Im with you, Biff. We can only wish.

But as the saying goes:

Change is coming, and it is good. Trust me, friends !!!!!

- wins at etihad and subi
- Watts to make 40 man AA short list
- Frawley and Garland to be AA FB and CHB respectively
- Grimes to play every game
- Sylvia to get some god damned consistency
- Strauss to get over his injury and become a regular in the 1st VXIII by seasons end
- Davey to get over whatever has got in his head recently and get back to his best

and hopeful of all hopeful wishes
- big jim to see us win a premiership

My only wish is that the team will force the supporters and players of other clubs to respect us with their performances on the field in 2012. Reading around the boards of BF, it is very clear that they don't at present.

Oh, and I'd love to see Jurrah light up the G this year. He will be worth an extra 10,000 through the gate when he ignites.

1. Win at Etihad
2. Grimes to play every game
3. Sylvia to become elite
4. Green and Jamar to recapture 2010 form
5. Moloney/Jones/Martin to continue to improve

Fingers crossed! Hugely important.

No doubt scully will play against Melbourne in Canberra. Providing he is legitimately fit they pretty much have to play him. If they are going to want supporters from here they'll play all their "names". I guess if he misses the g I'll see some of you up here at Manuka.

35 between clark, jurra and watts........so we are obviously not goin to kick many winning scores then...
I predict 100 between the 3 of them.
no losses over 42 points.
Jim Stynes to be here for round 1.
most of all no serious injuries for 2012.
Melbourne to make the 8.
