1 week till our last hitout before season proper.

Lets hope we see some rested players come back and we don't pick up any new injuries this week.

Sandi, Mcpharlin, Tabs, Spurr and Barlow could all possibly come back into the side.

Really want to see Grey get a run After the sucess of trting out Smith and Blakely this weekend.

Full dress rehearsal.

211, Luke, Tabs, Spurr, DPearce, Barlow (if available) all play.

Tendai & Ballaz injured. Nothing should come of the Sonson report. Apeness might be better suited to a WAFL game.

Will have to weigh up if Weller & Blakely would benefit from a full WAFL game or being a sub in NAB.

I would also expect Danyle to play next week too. He is running high pace at training with no ill effects.

Should be fun. Had a look at their board last week and was fascinated by the Lamb thread. It is fully of the bebate about whether they should have gone for Blakely instead, with the result fairly even I guess. I quite like Lamb and before the draft was interested in him possibly making it through to us, and also assumed Blakely would already be gone. It is probably going to be something of an ongoing discussion point, but at this stage I cannot see any Fremantle supporters wishing Lamb had slipped to us instead of Blakely.

The other thing that interested me was a few posters likenning Blakely to Priddis. Despite him being the reigning Brownlow medallist this wasn't a compliment. From what I have seen he is actually nothing like Priddis apart from being a bit of an extractor/ball magnet. Reasonable pace and disposal, finds space, decent decision making. I know it is unfashionable, but I don't mind Priddis. Good honest toiler.

Priddis is hurt free.

Why was Tabs not out there today?

I'm guessing pav and McPharlin will not play. Ross said that Macca already had his required minutes, and that pav was playing in Sydney to get his required minutes up. Why risk them?

Anyone with niggles/ a bit sore should not be played. This includes Mz, balla (sounds like he's done a calf anyway), Duffield, Weller, Barlow and Mundy.

211 probably needs the game time, as does tabener, but he may fall in with the above category of sore players.

Let them beat us by 90 points; just no more injuries!

I get the feeling from RTB's presser that we might take the foot off this week. The Sydney game was physical, fast and played on a rain soaked 2nd tier ground.

West Coast website to start Grand Final allocation by Sunday night.

Like to see him plat again. Think he will benefit from the wide open spaces and an actual AFL oval and hopefully decent weather.

The Eagles will be nice and rested after they cancelled a planned intra-club scratch match on Friday due to Wellingham pulling a heart muscle and Masten breaking a nail.

And if the million dollar palm tree plays, boy we are in for a flogging like last year.

Rest the entire 1st 22. Sick of these injuries.

IMO the whole club should ring in sick that morning .

I agree, with injuries, niggles and anxious waits on MRP decisions to Walters, Barlow, Mzungu, Ballantyne, Sandilands, Mundy & Taberner I wouldn't be opposed to a forfeit!!
