Well this news about fielding a strong side is really disapointing. We've all seen what the senior players can do already, and I was really looking forward to seeing a few of the other younger blokes in action and pressing for selection.

It is a new season, so far every player is on a level playing field. the older guys will still be keen to get their seasons off to a good start, and in all seriousness it's the Johnsons, Tarrants and Jollys that will win us a flag, not the untried rookies..

Happy about us naming a reasonably strong side. Gives us a better chance of winning, and therefore makes it more likely we'll get to watch them play next time, either live or on tv.

What happened to Leon Davis last night?

Didn't seem him on the feild? and he was named in the 29 man squad?

Actually, we named a 32 man squad on Thursday - Leon Davis, Trent Stubbs and Paul Seedsman were all named in that preliminary squad and didn't end up in the 29.

Darren Jolly was in the 29 man squad but didn't play.
