I rate Crowley better offensively than Jones (who in my opinion is a horrible footballer) and yes he tagged Hodge very nicely last night.

Jones certainly doesn't bag many goals . However I rather have the extra 150 to 200 possesions a year than the 4 or 5 extra goals per year Crowley gets when he plays forward .

He has horrible disposal and makes terrible decisions, yet he always seems to carve us up whenever we play the Saints. Shits me no end.

I dont think on the whole Clint Jones set the world on fire the last 2 years, however prior to that he was really good as a tagger. I can remember him getting carved up a few times in the past few seasons.

Crowley has much more offense than Clint Jones, Crowley is a fair kick and generally a good kick for goal. His best games have been when he has kicked 2/3 goals as a tagger and I remember him doing it a cpl of times in Derbies. It seems like he is fit and in good form this pre-season, hopefully for you boys he carries it through. I dont see him as a forward.

I think you are right. His field kicking is not that flash, but his goal kicking is ok !

I thought that Crowley with 30 touches on Luke Hodge was sensational, apart from the odd disposal or two. Keplar Braddley and Jack Anthony were also much imroved.

Lee Spurr and Josh Mellington went backwards though, but that was expected.
