Nathan

All the best with your recovery and rehab. Knowing your professionalism, you'll come back bigger and better than ever (might get on you for the 2006 Brownlow).

I'm sure you'll be invaluable around the club and can use your experience to help some of the younger guys.

Cheers

To N.G.Brown

Hope you get through this horrific injury and be out on the MCG in the yellow and black next season. It will be a shame that you will not be playing with us for a while as you are one of our greatest players.

Scott

Browny,

Good luck in your recovery and rehabilitation over the coming months. I'm sure you'll come back as a bigger and better player in 2006. Look forward to you winning games of your own boot again and revving up the Richmond faithful.

Simon.

Nathan,

I had to look away when chanel 9 showed your injury the second time. what a horrific injury for you to have to overcome. best of luck mate, i know you will come back bigger and stronger, just take it a day at a time and you will get there. cant wait to see you back in the form you have displayed this year, you are a champion footballer, and have really given us richmond people something to cheer about this year. hang in there.

Iain, Lisa, Joshua (7), Matthew (5), Caleb (3) and Levi (3 mo).

Dear Nathan,
All the best for a full and speedy recovery. Like everyone else here I was devastated when you went down. As a Tiger supporter of many years, I'm used to shedding a tear or two over a game, but never has anything hit me like that. It was like being punched full on in the stomach, seeing you lying out there.
The calmness and self control you showed, directly after and the next day in interviews, shows what a true proffessional you are. Thank you for bringing some excitement to our team, between you, our coach and our new players, we have a reason to roar again.
Looking forward to seeing you run out in 2006

Sally

Browny,

All the best in a speedy recovery and rehabilitation. About 8 people dropped into my office at work today to say how gutted they were you had gone down. None of them Richmond supporters. You certainly have injected a fantastic amount of self belief back into the team and the supporters. Your attitude in the media about the injury has been fantastic - I'm sure you are frustrated as heck you won't be able to get back on the ground this year in a winning team after the last 2 years being so poor for the teams you were in onfield - but the way you have come out to help how you can is a credit to yourself. I can't wait to see you running around again in Yellow & Black in 2006.

Best wishes,

Jon Lawson

Browny

Hope its all smooth sailing in the recovery (as far as possible anyway) and looking forward to see you turning the opposition inside out again asap.

Crumden

Hi Nathan,

Wishing you a speedy and full recovery and can't wait to see you do the impossible next year. You have brought great excitment to the RFC in the last few years but especially this year. Your effort is always 110%, making your injury a big blow to the club. I applause you for the way you have handled yourself in such a selfless manner and really just expressing your intent to give off the field now. You are a champion mate...BRING ON 2006 RFC Premiers, and Nathan Brown Brownlow medalist.

Get well mate and stay cool

Love
Irene

Recieved an email from the Staff at the Richmond Football Club;

Hi,

Thank you for passing these kind thoughts for Nathan. They have been
forwarded to him.

He shall be missed from the team; however I am sure the boys will rise
to the challenge for the rest of the season.

Regards,

Nice to see that the club responding to the offbeat motley crew from BF members.:D

Nice comments guys and gals and well done chris on the initiative.

put your feet up champ, oops I mean foot up and have a well deserved rest, while you can fire the boys up at training and teach the forwards some tricks. It's a bad break, but you are only going to miss half a season or just over. You'll be back in round 1 of 2006 and your leg will be stronger than ever before, as well as your form ;)
