Nathan Brown has been a better player, and this year with Alan Didak coming off an injury that's especially so.

Brown's not back to his best, and may not ever be after his injury, but when healthy he was a better player, and with both seeing limited games this year he was better than Didak.

Didak's a better chance to get back to his best form than Brown is though, and considering Didak's best is All-Australian calibre, I'd suggest that he'll probably be more value for the rest of his career.

Didak's 2006 was better than anything Brown's produced. But Brown's probably had 5 seasons better than Didak's second-best season.

Your joking right??

Nathan Brown was close to the best player in the league before he broke his leg. Didaks best season last year might be equal to browns 4th or 5th best season.

How quickly some people forget.

Brown is more a consistant player who'll never have a bad game.
Didak is more of a match winner.

The better forward imo is actually Brown, but Didak is easily the second best small forward behind Browny.

Stopped reading there. He's a very good player, and as I said apart from Didak's 2006 season Brown has been the better player. But neither have ever been close to the top 5 players in the league.

Are you serious? Brown was killing it before he broke his leg. Brown's best is much better than Didaks best.

I do have much expectations for Pie supporters, but you're stupidity with this comment is breathtaking.
Please may I have what you're smoking?

Brown was good enough to have Richmond in the Top 4 practically single-handedly in 2005. Didak could never drag a team up a ladder on his own.

Brown in '05 was awesome. Now Didak is better than him. Browns best is brilliant, Didak isn't far behind

lol, stay off the crystal meth mate. he may have been the best house in the worst street but to put him in the same sentence as goodes, riewoldt, buckley, hird, harvey et al. is an absolute joke.
similar to your team and coach really:D

he single handedly won us games off his own boot, like when he kicked 5 goals in the 4th quarter to beat your mob who were leading all day. He was leading the goal kicking after 8 rounds with 35 goals or so.

He was talking about the '05 season up to when he broke his leg, not as a player overall, 20.2 disposals and 3.4 goals per game in 10 matches says he was at least Top 5.

Logic says he wouldn't have maintained those averages.

To be honest, I think at their peaks Brown may have just had the edge, but I think if a team is looking for a player right now, Didak would be the better option. Younger, and can tear games open, as he did on Saturday night. He was phoenominal.

Bloody hell you Collingwood supporters have your heads firmly up your asses.

Don't you realise that you are the ONLY supporters voting for Didak in this poll? Doesn't that suggest that maybe it isn't an insane idea that Nathan Brown is better than Didak?

Oh, no! It's everybody else! Everybody else in the world is wrong, not us!

You don't think as a richmond fan you may have a LITTLE bias as well?

Don't worry, everyone else knows Brown's best is beyond Didak.

Not as much as this:

"just had the edge" ... LOL

So being biased is admitting Brown was probably the better player?
Meh, whatever works for you I guess
Its not bias its true.
Browns best is much much much better then Didaks.
Funny that you toothless pie fans are the only ones that think Didak is even close

Yep. But we will see Didak's best for a few years yet.

Sadly, Brown will never be a matchwinner again.
