Following on from the Bowden trade question and seeing that most would not trade him primarily because he is Richmond born and bred I thought I would raise Nathan Brown as a possibilty for trade. So again if a good deal was put forward from an opposition club that would snare us 2 good draft picks or a young kid with potential and a second round pick would you trade Brown our of Richmond?
I know he is a proven match winner but will Brown still be that match winner if it takes us 2-3 more years to become a contender for a finals spot.
FWIW I would not trade out Brown, he has shown in his comeback that given time to get his fitness levels back up to where he was he could still be very good for us. Plus the near on 2 full seasons hs missed would see his body less banged up than another player his age (except for the leg).
