How does he get rested if he was named on both the reserves as well as the VFL seniors list for the weekend? He would have played at some level...

He played in the seconds unless the team list is wrong which I doubt.

Well the team list on the VFL website is wrong then or we have another Freeman playing in the seconds.

I think you'll find he was only named on the extended bench for Sandy but named onball in the selected team for the development squad.

Unfortunately the only stats I can ever find for the development squad (Foxsportpulse.com) are always limited to 6 best players and goal kickers. No other stats.

One of those sites has him in the selected team. Well it did yesterday

The Dev league is so strange and pointless. I'd rather have an affiliation with a B Grade amateur team than have our players taking part in this faux league that no one gives two hoots about.

I couldn't agree more. It wrecks local footy when guys go in and out of sides weekly and you don't know if they are available until about 6 on Thursday. I think every good seconds player should play at Ormond.

Shithouse deal.

We will miss out on our brand being recognised at the VFL groundswell level. Clubs like Collingwood, Richmond and Cartlon are doing that well. A day out at Vic park is essentially better than a day at the AFL nowadays and certainly more family friendly. This half arsed compromise is exactly that.

Most likely. We need to win by 29 points and we are safe. Going to be tough as the side we play will be relegated if we win by that margin. To many injuries and not enough good players. D grade is that weak we probably go up again but we need to stop this yo yo stuff.
