I don't think at around pick 30 he is expensive. About a third of those type of picks make it so if he doesn't he going in the majority category. No huge risk as far as I can see.

Yep

Nicholas Winmar
Sam Crocker
Spencer White

vs Jack Newnes
Nathan Wright
Blake Acres

But it also depends who is in the draft in question.

As of today Freeman is 5 weeks away.
8 weeks ago he was 2 weeks away.

I actually find this funny.
Aaron Hamill eat you're heart out.

Acres was pick 19.

Makes little difference, If Collingwood had asked to swap Freeman for Acres I'd have thought it worth considering ( except for my natural suspicion of Collingwood trading used players ).

As far as Collingwood trades go ( pick 17 for Wellingham, pick 2 for Daisy ) it has potential to be one of the better ones.
Still don't know why Melbourne took Lamumba instead of just letting Mitch walk.

Pies got pick 11 for Daisy. Absolute highway robbery to get 17 for that trampoline jumping seagull Wellingham

Daisy left as a free agent and Collingwood got pick 11 for him, not a trade and not pick 2.

The trade is what it is - we need to embrace it and realize that it will take time to know if it is a success or not

Is this the so called nathan freeman?
They cut the video just before Freemans hamstring exploded out of his leg flew past McCartin who was too fat and slow to grab it hitting a nearby picnic table spilling the lines of coke Carlisle had just cut while eating KFC and smoking a darb.

At least that's what Greg Williams daughter told me

That's not a real let, its a CGI mock up of a leg.

Has anyone got any updates on freeman? I know where still playing the waiting game but if all has been tracking along nicely like richo has said is he a chance of playing a half in sandringhams next practice match in a couple of weeks time?

Yes. A big chance. The damage inflicted on him by Collingwoods incompetence has taken a long time to get right.
Due to his former clubs recklessness he needs to completely rebuild the muscles on that leg and it will take time.
Fortunately he moved clubs before he was lost to football alltogether.

Maybe gets a run in the Sandy magoos in a couple of weeks

Has he been participating in most of the training or is he still on a modified program

Participating in full training and match simulation.

If he was at Collingwood they would have played him by now, running him until his hamstring collapsed again and then blamed him for being "injure prone".

We are better then Collingwood they were so happy to steal Ball they gave him Greening's number still hadnt got over it and even though i think O'Dea's number was free for Freeman we are trying to move forward.
Collingwood will target Freeman when he first plays them and Eddie will cheer them on just like he did in 2005

Bugger that. Kicks a pearler to put us 100 points up with 5 minutes to go.

That's good to, but I like the idea of that mob going through a game expecting to win then have the smile wiped of there toothless faces only to be replaced by utter dissapointment. Even better if the goal is the result of a dodgy free
