You're not worried now?
He played 3 VFL games for Collingwood in 3 years.
He's been at our club 7 months and has managed 3 quarters of development league football with what is now his 2nd setback.
No intra club football either so it is literally 3 quarters of football.
I'm disappointed but not worried at this stage. Long term gane with him.

Yeah post Bulldogs I went full Rainman. I'm probably only slight facial tic on Freezer.
Dude, we're all agreed I was the worst. And this isn't even getting me to bat an eye.

News on Freeman.

Apologies, I was wrong on yesterdays post.

I am now informed that Freeman had heartburn awareness but after scans was shown to be low grade reflux.

Club being very conservative with Freezers gastro-intestinal system.

Need to get him fully right before committing him to a the full Thursday night after training BBQ.

I like this approach by the club, cant be too cautious.

So it was a bbq awareness?

Bust.

**** me that was a dramatically painful 4 pages to read. Would be great if this thread could be locked for 12 months. Hopefully the club and player don't read bigfooty.

All of this 'can we trade him back' piss that some people are talking is only serving one purpose; to provide the Collingwood lurkers with more lube as they thrash themselves reading the thread.

He was NOT recruited to be a major part of our game plan this year and I trust the club to get him right and if it doesn't work out I still back the club for making the ballsy call to have a crack.

Even if we had kept the 2nd round pick there is no guarantee we would take a top player with it.
In fact our 2nd round picks around the low-mid 20s in the last 10 years have gotten us:
- Brad Howard
- Nicholas Winmar
- Sam Crocker
- Daniel Markworth
- Nathan Wright
- Spencer White
- Luke Dunstan

Not exactly players that are going to make premiership winning difference with a few of the more recent picks obviously showing some promise now and it being too early to tell on the others (Goddard, McKenzie).

In fact, we've possibly done better with 3rd round picks in the last 10 years.

I'll back the club to use the trade period to take calculated gambles to try and give us a competitive advantage.

Seriously some of those picks just make me ANGRY!!!
Brad Howard , not even on the radar for the draft.
Nicholas Winmar. ( feed them a famous name that will keep our sucker members happy ).

Who was in charge of recruiting then, i need to know just in case i find them in a dark alley.

A bloke who is now back at Geelong.
Seriously, no draftee is a guarantee, look at Luke Molan in the super draft, a top 9 pick who never played one single game.

Give it a rest and focus on the new blokes.

No draftee is a guarantee so lets pick that random bloke. But yeah you're right and things seem to be better now.

If you play the Jamie Cox Injury Report video backwards, you can clearly make out a devil like voice which says "weeee fuuuuuckeed uuuuup. The haaaaams gaaaaawn baaaaad".....

are you sure?

i played it backwards and as far as i can tell he's saying:
"frrrreeeee kiiicccckkk haawwwthooorrrnnnn"

this thread is slipping like a slip and slide with a litre baby oil on it. pretty much the same as our season.
Where did you think we would be sitting at this stage of the season?
