Since when?- since we’ve had him, he has never gone more than 4 months without some sort of hamstring issue whether is be a strain, tear or awareness.
Since when?
This is the first hamstring issue he's had that I'm aware of since he started playing again for Sandy dev league and seniors for the last 8 or whatever games of the 2016 season, which means that the last one prior to that was about mid-2016 (which he would have to have recovered from, before playing those games).
So that was about 20 months ago.
Are you saying that he's had at least 5 hamstring issues that I'm not aware of in between that mid-2016 one and this latest one?
So essentially you’re happy to post the info you’re fed but don’t want me to question it? Well done on posting the intra club info mate, MG had already done it but was good Info non the less. Apologies for asking what day it was, I had a day off this week so was going to head down and see if I could have a look and post what I saw here, surely with your info you could’ve just said Thursday and that would’ve been the end of it?Mate, if you can't stand reading what I have to say please just shut up and put me on ignore. You question everything, it's incredibly dull and I don't have time sitting here making sure joop understands everything 100% of the time. For instance I mentioned last week that the intraclub was happening this week, and you then asked me what day it was on. When is it ever enough for you? Like I would bother to tell you anyway lol, sitting here getting your knickers in a knot because you believe one thing and someone else tells you another. Then you go on to private message me requesting I come out and "tell you the truth" and that you'll "keep it behind closed doors", like you're some kind of conspiracy theorist that thinks he knows everything.
I don't want to have to log in and have to spell things out to you every day. I get fed info and I post it, if you don't agree with it or don't believe it, that's fine. If you want me to tell you that you're correct, then you're correct.
Lets move on. Believe what you want to believe. I wont stop what I'm doing, so I'd suggest either putting me on ignore or just not reading my posts in general. I would much prefer if we never spoke to each other again lol.
Have a good day mate.
The club is still considering it. He hasn't gone in for surgery yet.
Yeah I certainly wouldn't trust what the club feed us as far as I could throw it, but I'm just surprised I haven't really even heard rumours of any issues for the great majority of that time, as usually that sort of stuff manages to seep out.Think we have been hand feed what the club want us to hear. He has hamstring awareness a few times since mid 2016 otherwise this would hardly be a serious issue. Unfortunately it seems the recruitment wont work but I still say it was worth the risk. It isn't as if every pick in the draft we get right. I just feel sorry for the person.
He was a beautiful player. Unbelievably talented. Was a personal favourite of mine. For the life of me can’t remember why...
Damn that go-Home factor. Didn’t he leave us & his brother leave Port at the same time to both play together at Freo?Matty Carr would be on my what might have been list. He was looking good and we swapped him for Craig Callahan.
Aaah yes, now I remember why... that sweet sweet left shoe...

Would have been a pretty decent player in modern footy.
A bit of both as I recall.I know this is totally the wrong thread, but why was he delisted? I was living overseas at the time. Inconsistency or injury?
Didn't he get his jaw broken?Aaah yes, now I remember why... that sweet sweet left shoe...

What should I believe?Lol ok mate you just believe what you want to believe then![]()
Daniel Healy fall into this discussion at all?
Kicked 6 (of his 24 career AFL goals) on his birthday against the Eagles in '98, led the forward line without Loewe, Hall and Winmar roaming.
Delisted at the end of '99 after only 38 games and then played in the SANFL until 2005 where he played 135 games.
Ability would be the main reason or lack there of. Like many in that era we thought they were better than they were. Lets face it when we were good in that period he didn't play much and when we were bad and we were really bad he couldn't hold his spot. Having said that I thought he looked good but he obviously wasn't.
And then we thought Matthew Capuano was our next saviour, or so I was told from the Saints fans I spoke to back then.James Begley would have to be in the conversation. Remember stupid Tim Watson said he was our next captain and thought he'd be a superstar. His crowning achievement at anything in life was being a Cleo batchelor of the year from memory. Can't actually recall him playing Adelaide. Must have been good.
