This isn't the trades and coaching thread. It's the Nathan Freeman thread, wherein some people see his refusal to give the kid a go instead of his old hobbling stalwarts a contributing factor to why they think he should be sacked.
It's called discussion. But then moping about other people's discussions because you disagree is a form of discussion too, so keep it up!

As for me I don't think he should be sacked. But I like to joke about it anyway in this thread and that because it's been a grim season and grim jokes are all I've got.

Discussion is about why Freeman may or may not be getting a game.

Simply rambling on with repetitive drivel about the coach's credentials in almost every bloody thread is just repetitive drivel about the coach's Credentials.

I would have thought someone as intelligent as yourself would know the difference.

How about you let the moderators dictate and manage the threads. You seem to leave plenty of trails over in the Sack Richo thread yourself, you cant have it both ways.

More likely than not your right. He hasn't played a game.

But he is obviously a very highlighted player, if he continues to progress his game at vfl level he should play afl.

I'm pleading a rare lapse, Barrels. Will try harder in future. Advice taken on board. Not a good look for someone who writes for a living.

Still no Nate. Methinks the coach has shelved him. Only four more chances to get a game. Clearly they don't want to have an extended look as to what he can do before the end of the year. Brings back Lonie for yet another look because of his "pressure". What pressure? Freezer gets 30, racks up possessions over a month and can't get a look in and TMBK keeps picking a player who has proven time and again he's not going to advance our side to any great degree.

What does the freezer have to do? The season is over. Time to experiment. Time to see what you've got left on your list. This is a blatant example of what a muppet we have handed our team to. After five years, TMBK still doesn't get it. He's a mediocrity at best and he has infected his assistants and all around him with his lack of imagination, creativity and innovation . If Lethlean doesn't sack this muppet, then SL should go himself. Whoever signed off on his extension should go as well. Apologies to VDS666 for trailing into an anti TMBK post in a freezer thread.
 
It’s nothing more than my own thought, but I feel if Freeze does well/remains injury-free this weekend he’ll get his chance next week. I doubt the club is deliberately holding him over until we play in Melbourne, but I suspect it might play out that way. Here’s hoping, anyway.

No, No, not that kind of record. That's a record that is broken once and is a fact. It is recorded and you move on. Richo will improve or worsen those stats next year.
Broken record as in stuck and going over and over and over the same tune, ie
TMBK (Richo) is hopeless and should be sacked asap....

Yes, that's it, and I agree with you re Weller, not sure why Richo, and the match Committee, keep picking him. Or Lonie.
Have been a bit short of options on backline, so can understand Gilbo.

Back on topic, I hope Freeman will get a go within the next two weeks. Physically OK, but maybe he still has doubts mentally about pushing his body to the limit.
I am sure he and the club want his debut to be a success, rather than a bust.
 
I hope he gets a go also. Nothing to lose by playing him. We play the kids to see how they cope. Still need to throw Freeman out there to see how he copes Richo ;)
