Without really knowing anything I expect they'd be a little dull. Strikes me as the sort of player who'd stay so a 1 yr contract to allow him the chance to get right and show his value before signing longer term deal or possibly a 2 yr deal with us 'showing the faith'.

I dont think he is going to be delisted... what could possibly be the reason to delist a player who has genuine trade value.

A more realistic conundrum we may find ourselves in, is if he hasnt put together any real body of work to go off at senior level come contract time, how much are we willing to offer him?

I could easily see another club offer him somewhere in the $250,000 - $300,000 range, i dont know how comfortable I'd be with the club matching a deal on the upper end of that scale.
