Sometimes find it incredibly easy to score on My Player and sometimes I just can't seem to get anything to go.

Approaching the end of my second season in the NBA, averaged about 6 pts/3 assists in my first year for Portland and averaged about 14/5 in my second year for the Heat. Won 6th man of the year.

Thinking of stopping MyCareer for a few days after this season, earning ALOT of VC and exploding in my 3rd year.

Yeah i find the same, one minute I sink 3 long range shots in a row, the next i miss 5 in a row. Finding the timing awkward, seems to be "perfect" rather late in the motion, I release when the shot is at the peak and it flashes up poor timing. Starting to bug me a bit, as is the fact even as a PG i can't seem to get plays running properly.

Just played a pretty crazy game in MyCareer.

Its game 6 of the first round of the playoffs and I finally get my first start for the Miami Heat! I'm pretty happy that my 6'4 PG has finally knocked Mario Chalmers out of his starting PG position on the Heat...

Turns out I am starting at SF with LeBron playing PF.

So I have to defend Melo on every posession

I actually play him pretty well and make him miss his first few shots, meanwhile I have 5 assists in under 4 minutes to start the game as we hit our first 10 shots to start the game! Its 22-8 after about 5 minutes and the Knicks have to take a timeout.

Either way Carmelo ended up shooting 18-44
Stoudermire only took 6 shots
LeBron shot 20-26 and ended up with 45,11 and 7
I ended up my first game as a starter (at SF) with 17, 9 and 13 ... So close to that triple dub

Don't know how long I will put up with being SF however, thank god I dont have to defend LeBron

When I do it, I only get the +10 for winning. You know why I'm not getting the +150 for playing a game?

Hrm, nope no idea, I always get the 200 points (for coaches mode and the 10 for the win) for the Blacktop you gotta wait like 10 minutes after you get your first 150 vc for some reason, that's why I do games between blacktop games

Maybe you're clicking cancel by accident when it tried to send the coins to your profile or something

After my first year with the Blazers where they went 24-58 and I had to come off the bench, we've started 5-0 in my second season. Finally pushed JJ. Hickson out of the starting PF spot. Unfortunately Aldridge and Lillard hog the ball and when I do call for it, I get slapped with "bad call for pass". Think Im gonna have to bump up my 3pt rating if I want to get more shots.

Simmed a game tonight while I was out in order to get 600 VC for free.

Decided to do Team USA vs the Dream Team on 12 minute quarters to see how they'd go against each other. Dream Team hammered them 157-125, with MJ scoring 54 points on 76% shooting. Classic Michael. LeBron had a sick statline of 28p-8r-17a.

Just played against Miami twice, for whatever reason Lebron was playing PF all game & I was matched up on him pretty much the whole time for both games. First game Lebron dropped 64 (27/46 fg) on me in double overtime (lost). Was bloody hard defending Lebron down the stretch with basically no boost left (Lebron probably had about 15 dunks in the game!). Second game though I held him to 34 points 36 shots (won easily). Felt good.

So hard to score as a PF though. Almost through the first season playing mainly key games and I'm averaging 5/6/2/1 block in 22 mins.

I agree that PF seems to be the hardest position to score from. Just doesn't seem to get included in the offence. Especially if your team has a scoring Centre eg. Bynum or Aldridge.

It's annoying that they still haven't fixed the all star issues in MyCareer.

I made the final spot in the All Star team in my first season and only played about 7 minutes in the game. My first game back for Portland, I had been bumped from the starting lineup and wasn't reinstated until 3 games later of putting up excellent numbers. Even then I'm not playing PG anymore and have less minutes than Damian Lillard even though I've outperformed him all season. Frustrating as hell.

Tried that method, worked for a little bit, then stopped for some reason, I'm sure there isn't a daily VC cap

I'm playing as a 6'10 3 point shooting small forward for the Bobcats (cause I got drafed 2nd overall) and have rarely ever played SF, stuck playing PF and sometimes even C! Gotta learn how to box out big time haha

Got my first player of the match last night, bumped up my consistency and dropped 36 points 8 3 pointers, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals. Just fell short of an a+ but up to equal minutes with Lin and Kmart now

If you can get drafted by the Nuggets it's awesome. I'm a 6'5 PG so I play PG/SG and we're 9-2. Lawson's fast and a good passer/shooter, Iggy's unselfish and can finish and McGee and Faried are PNR monsters. Once I get Wilson ****ing Chandler traded and Galinari starting we'll be unstoppable.

Pretty stupid that even though my rating is in the low 70s I have to play 41 minutes a game, I wish 2k would give me proper minutes and substitutions.

Sigh, was playing mycareer and just did a drill. As it was going back to the the home screen I pressed the PS button to see who was online and I pressed it again to exit it as it was still loading, everything just froze up so I restarted console. Come back and get told it can't read the save file. GG to my Detroit career, now I have to start a new one. Just after I spent 1k VC too.
