Havnt got 2k13 yet is it much different to 2k12?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing...specifically, these 2 issues:

Does the computer still bite on every pump-fake in the post?
I see they changed stick-shooting so that you have to hold down LT now...sounds annoying. Is it?

Yes and no. Some people have said they struggled with it. It took me 1 or 2 games to get used to it, now I'm fine with it. Dribble moves are 100x easier to execute!

Having Bynum now in my team is awesome, my assist averages have increased by about 2 per game. Still a couple of little things that shit me about the game.

One is the outlet pass 'glitch', where one of your teammates will grab a rebound and go for a long outlet pass, only to throw it straight into the backboard and turn it over. Very frustrating.

Another is the ridiculous amount of VC it costs to buy ANYTHING. A headband for 5000? That's crazy. Why would I buy an accessory, when for the same amount of VC I could easily upgrade one, maybe two attributes to 99? I would have liked to have seen an animation unlocked when that player follows you on Twitter. That way, it still takes time to get the really good animations (MJ etc.) but doesn't mean you have to spend a crapload of VC when you could be spending it on other attributes.

Don't the expensive accessories come with stat upgrades and can be used on later My Players too though?

Yeah, had to do the system update too. Can now download trophies to PSvita ( don't have one) and Turkish is available as a language. Sick. 20mins of my life I wont get back.

Awesome because you know the psvita is so hugely popular and I'm fluent in turkish...

Played 2 games, Golden State and Heat, both losses, Magette destroyed me defensively, I had Lebron fairly quiet and outscored him but Wade had an absolute field day, top scorer, top assists, top rebounds.

I seem to be getting the rebound part of my game down pat. Usually grab a minimum of about 8 a game. Still having trouble blocking shots though. Not sure if I'm getting the timing wrong or what. My player is supposed to be an athletic defensive stopper. Kinda like Ibaka, but with an offensive side. Keep gettin fouls. Frustrating...

I also wish that in Assoc mode, there was more you could do to entice FA's to re-sign. I build my team into a successfull franchise and players that I drafted, that are suppose to be loyal, keep walking out. Grrrrrrr.

So I have a 3pt specialist PG (6'4) and was drafted #11 to Detriot (on a side note I love how even if you are drafted high that team still gets the player the drafted in real life, i.e. Drummond is on out team. It's nice)

I struggled through the first few games and then decided to upgrade a bit. First thing I did was On Ball defense !! Oh my does that make a huge difference, no longer can the PG's run right past me and score with ease. Makes defending so much better.

Also upgraded my ability to finish in traffic. I'll be adding more to the layup and dunk when I can now so I can be more of an all round PG, drive or shoot.

I'm still only a role player but I've managed to average 10/2/5 so far about 10 played games in.

Yeah i struggle with blocks when im at sf, too short for some at mid to long, too weak to block in the post.

Easiest way to block I find is to come from behind or in from the side, still not very easy though haha

Yeah i got an epic block in on lbj that way, he went in for a showy dunk and i sent that shit out of there

I bought the brickwall signature skill for my PF, it's pretty cool. Already dropped quite a few players. Definitely recommend getting it if your a 'big'.

Also, probably the easiest way to get your team mate rating up.

Blocks are all about timing though. I've found the few times I have blocked (admittedly I have a low block rating at the moment) has been when I got the timing right.



Also just purchased Ray Allen's shot and free throw shot which should help as I'm sick of taking forever to release the ball.

I find getting blocks easy, quite a few times I've ended up with 4 in the first quarter but I'm struggling with rebounding consistently. Some games I'm racking up double digits but other times I'm ending up with around 5, which is pathetic for an athletic 7 footer with near maxed out rebounding.

Also got invited to the Dunk contest in MyCareer, still have about 4 games to get there though.

Most blocks I've got is... EIGHT!

Still in my third year, and averaging 19.9ppg, 11.5rpg, 1.4apg, 0.3spg and 1.9bpg!

Got All-Star selection, 1.56mil fans on Social Media, made the Dunk Contest (couldn't play though as I didn't have the DLC...), and my Magics are Play-off bound with 16 games left in the season!!!
