So are mine.

I'll have a fortune the size of Mark Cuban's should the Nets get the win, well nearly.

Anyone think it was the Cookie Monster, not Deke, being interviewed at half-time? :p

:p good to see him back at his finger waving best...near best.

Turnover.....
Turnover.....
Turnover.....
Turnover.....
Players realise that Jackson is shooting okay, with about 11 seconds to go.

Oh, deary me...Tony did well, but Manu, Rose, Duncan and Jackson for the majority of it were careless with the ball. When things are going sour, use Kevin Willis for a few minutes. The guy has balls.

The Spurs will always give you a chance with their free throwing. Don`t worry Matty. I`m tipping the Spurs will hit back in NJ. Sorry P&P & Squeak.
Another good point. FT's were dangerously low, again. Especially Timmy. They will come back...I hope.

Bang! And Tony Parker hits back!

All in all, it was a poor game by both teams, but damn am I glad we took the first game in NJ.
Timmy Duncan rebounded well, and Malik was the spark to lead us to victory.

It was so important to get some momentum in NJ, and our FT's were even a little better.

Good effort. Turnovers still a worry, but we held on to our lead and finished the game.

2-1. Go Spurs.

BAM! Bitch slaps back.

It is a daring man who misquotes a Kevin Smith flick. Try not to tempt fate my friend, Kittles might actually connect on the posterization of Tim and friends in game 4... ;)

If the Nets can figure out how to all play well in the same game they would romp home in this series!

In game 1, the only guy that shows up is K-Mart with a 6 minute cameo from Mutombo. In game two, K-Mart, Kidd, Harris and Mutombo play ball, the rest dont. In game 3, again K-Mart shows up and Kittles comes to play...the rest done.

When will they all fire together??

2-1 down now. The Nets need game 4, cant face 3-1 or the series is just about over. Also Jason Kidd has to do something about Tony Parker. Parker seems to get into the paint whenever he feels like it, Kidd is a great defender yet often just let's him by without any real resistance? I know Kidd can guard him but he doesnt?? Strange?? Perhaps he is too tired from running up and down the floor like a crazy man to play any D?

Whatever is wrong with Kidd...he needs to fix it and be the Kidd we all know he is. Because right now, Parker is embarrassing him. Gotta love Jackson and Manu though, they are doing it all in the Finals and Duncan is .... well Duncan.

Kenyon Martin though has arrived. If Kidd finds his game in time and Jefferson decides to have any impact whatsoever on any game .... the Nets might win the series. Still cant see it happening.

Looking forward to game 4.

Going into this series, we thought the Jefferson/Bowen matchup was going to be important. So far Jefferson has been the disappointment of the series. Credit to Bowen.

The fat lady is warming up...

You and me both.

I know I'm biased, but Parker is genuinely outplaying Jason Kidd in this series. He's hitting shots, driving to the rim and distributing to the right players. (See the pass to Ginobili in the dying seconds for the running jumper)

Parker is young, yet mature and while Kidd seems a real possibility for the Spurs next season, I want to keep Tony Parker. Duncan and Parker are a deadly duo, and Parker runs the floor well with guys like Manu and Jackson.

Parker is saving the Spurs collective butt this series, and turning it over less than Kidd.

As for Jefferson. His contribution has been almost non-existant. His shot isn't falling, he isn't getting open and is being limited on the fast break opportunities.

Oh, and as for Malik's dunk over Mutombo - pure pornography.

Excuse me boys and girls, but I'm in the mood for a posterisation.

Ahhh, that's much better

Edit: I'm not sure why the picture isn't showing up, but at least the link works.

Yes, we all highlighted that matchup as the potential series winner. Jefferson needs to find a way to become effective to give NJ any chance.

Being fair to Mutombo....that picture shows just why he is a 4 time Defensive Player of the Year and probably the greatest shot blocker the game has seen in the modern era.

He challenged the dunk....A LOT of players would have stayed down.

Matty, you wouldnt happen to have a picture of Mutombo sending back Duncan's effort in Game 2 by any chance would you? :D

Nah, don't seem to have that one champ. ;)
Although, Mutombo didn't see to do any finger-wagging after he got dunked on by the 6'7ish Malik.:p
