Hey NBA live and 2k9 come out this week and i was wondering if anyone has any prefrence between the two. I'm looking at getting one for the 360 but haven't played much of the past 2k games. Any information about the two series would be great.
Cheers.

If Live is anything like its been for the last 4 or 5 years on PC it will be a complete piece of shit full of deliberately ignored bugs that make it stupid and unplayable.

I will not buy another EA sports title for the rest of my life, **** them and their PC NBA monopoly. I retract that, their former monopoly as 2k9 will be available on PC  :thumbsu:

there is nothing worse on this earth than playing 73 games of a full NBA season with 12 minute qtrs with a shitty team(the knicks) which you have remoddled into the perfect team after countless hours of trades, coaching, scouting, everything.....you are looking forward to the play-offs,to recruiting new players........

to have some 7 year old come and erase it all

the feeling in my stomach when i went to load it up to find it all gone cannot be described:(

2k farts all over Live.

And then follows through with lots of turds!

Word is Live picked up there game a lot but is still far behind, although they made an inroad or two.

2K for the people who like the games of basketball, how it's played and of season

Live for people who like unrealistic dunks

Bassically dont buy live 09
Its ****ing shit , and is only for those who play for "fancy" shiny dunks and so one
2K sports is far supreme , there dynasty is unbelievable & gameplay is as realistic as you will ever play

Live just came out today and as a hopeless NBA and gamer fanatic, I considered the purchase........But realised i'd play it until 2K9 came out and throw it away.

I may see if it's for hire somewhere already to bide my 2 days wait until 2K is scheduled to come out.

But as you 2K fans out there know.......scheduled releases here in Aus for 2K games are anything but reliable.

Faaaaaaaaaaark. :o

And with the Knicks too. It's like the kid knew it was wrong to have a season where the Knicks were actually successful. ;)

I heard 2K9, in a bid to become more realistic, has made the Knicks trade for massive contracts attached to old broken down players who have 5 years left on their deal.

And in the even the Knicks look like making the playoffs, your console will self destruct.
