It's not so much prices, it's weighted by the % of people who've tipped them I think.

I was assuming when I set it up last week that the although the prices werent there, they would be closer to the date.....but not yet obviously.

I emailed oztips, their response regarding the odds for weighted tipping:

Hi

Starts and Prices are updated via a feed from our Sports Betting partner and once once the Prices are available in that feed, they're automatically shown online.

funky - PRICE TIPPING: The points awarded for a correct Tip are based upon the match's final Tip price. eg. If the final match Tip prices were Charlotte ($1.35) v New York ($2.20) and Charlotte won, you would be awarded 1.35 points for that correct Tip. If no Tip prices are available from our sports betting partner or you have correctly Tipped a Draw, you will receive the default points setup in the Comp's Rules instead.

That says to me your assumption is correct.

Its fun trying to work out where the upsets will come from
