I have complained about this for 4 years and I know I'm the Lone Ranger in it but I'm going to whine again.

If you know, actually know, who Dal wants..... why the hell would we post it on the board?

A. I can't believe Dal is stupid enough to disclose it to Pan

B. I can't believe Pan then tells other members in a public forum and

C. I can't believe we choose to post it pre draft to prove what, that we are in the know?

It's ridiculous. I did a site of Richmond FC with their CCO a few years ago and happened into their draft board and their review team. He got torn down in front of me for disclosing private intel in that format.

I don't know if people really understand how valuable this insight is and yes they would read forums to gain that insight.

I reckon clubs have their own opinions and stick to it, I can't see a lot of damage being done unless it's either a situation where a club has a pick before and after us, and takes the player we want first leaving a player they might have wanted more but know we don't for after (Carlton/Adelaide 2015) or it an unknown player Dal wants to take later in the draft maybe only he really knows about. The top end order wouldn't be changed just because another club hears who Dal likes. I've heard all the clubs pretty much know who is taking who before the draft anyway, that's how Quayle and Twomey in recent years have been able to nail the top picks a couple nights out.

Maybe this is an issue when clubs have a smokey hidden away somewhere for pick79 but all the top 20 are mostly exposed form units.

Adams - similar. Certainly the latter was flagged on here pre draft.

If I was someone like StKilda I'd love to know who Dal liked in advance.

All I can go on is how ferociously the tigers team reacted to someone unrelated viewing their draft board. They were horrified. I just don't see the value here.

Guess away, follow the kids, I enjoy it as much as anyone, but private, heavily researched intel the clubs invest hundreds of man hours into and jealously guard being posted here to win "I have the best contacts????!!!"
