One would think that Pendles, Sidey, Crisp and Mitchell could all rotate through taking turns as sub.

But he'll come into the side because Houston is getting suspended, so Long will move into the 22 with the sub spot open.

Agree, I think he'll come into the 22 for sure next week with one of our normal mids moving to back flank. I was responding to him never being sub again. He's been really impressive, but still not as impressive as our top 5 or 6 mids and he looks pretty much midfield only at the moment. We're batting deep in the midfield at the moment.

As his confidence grows we see more of his skill - the shimmy to create space and then goal with a check side was outstanding.
We’d all be effusive and in awe if it was ND or Bobby.

I think like you too - it's a 22 and the sub is separate. He'll come into the 22 for Houston. That'll give him a couple of weeks in the 22 if he performs in the first one and then after that we might be due to do some veteran rotation or have an injury or two.

They'll be fine Spinny. Whole teams back up and win after 5 day breaks between harder and faster AFL games - let alone VFL games.

And we're probably just talking about players coming in to be the sub and emergencies in case we have someone become unavailable.

Geez he can find the ball no worries. Just needs a bit of polish to his game.
Too many of his possessions seem to just take too long to get there, or are slightly behind/infront of a moving target.
Another 50 games into Longy and he could be a real player

Love his Attack and Tackling but yes his Disposal can be bit more Better but could say the Same about Adams and Mitchell
