Happy for you.

Funny on the media they didn't mention Richmond only Carlton and Brisbane.

We're happy with Ross Smith thank you very much.

Fair enough, must have imagined the thread on the Richmond board that was 41 pages long

Good signs for the Dees. Missen and Craig seem to be great gets.

Next step is get rid of that clown CEO.
This is the problem. The clown of the CEO is the one who has sold the club with his passion and work ethic and hired all these people. He's the same person who's managed to get all these well credentialed people in the first place. Not to mention the one who's put the club in a financial position to hire these guys. If he now has the leadership to step away from the department then we should start having some success. Also as long as all these people we've hired can work constructively together.

Behold. The structure!

Why did Stynes get Lyon in to sort out the problems at the club, shouldn't that be the job of the CEO?

Why did they fire him and only rehire him because they did not want to lose a coach and CEO in quick succession?

Why did they fork out thousands for a full review, only to have it thrown out by the CEO because he did not come out looking flash?

Do you really think this CEO is the one has has the passion or is it the president?

Stynes orchastrated the debt demoLition which has put the club in a better financial position, couple that with the billion dollar TV rights deal.

When did he ever get fired?

Oh, and why did we just sign the biggest sponsorship deal in the clubs history? Why were we able to attract Neeld, Craig, Mission and Co? I suppose that was nothing to do with the CEO?

Dont get too rapt Dees fans. Remember that this is the same guy who hung on to the old timers for too long and failed to rebuild the Crows list properly.
Also, think back to your thumping of the Crows by near on 100 points earlier this year, and then we ll see if your still warm and fuzzy about Craig's appointment....

How about both. And a CEO who landed a 2 million a year sponsor and essendon are struggling to find one. The clown is laughing at you.

Atleast we won't be team Judd.

Thats right, you ll still be team nobody lol
Melbourne is the easy opt out for anyone who wants to keep a steady income from football
Its a no pressure job that you can stay in for 3-4 years draw an income and if results come your well then well and good - if they dont well its no pressure you move on . no one not even their supporters expect success they are happy to go with the punches make the odd finals experience and remember the good old days from the 50's and early 60's

An interesting point of view.

Now may I remind you that he won't be our head coach (or even in a role related to the matchday aspect of coaching) and even then has had success in the past with Adelaide?

And that's why we've cleaned out 1/2 of our FD.

Have your balls dropped yet?

He's not our senior coach, he's not our list manager, he's not our football manager, he's our Director of Sports Performance.

As a senior football person with an impressive sports science background he's a significant appointment. Now, like a good dolt, piss off.:)

Great comeback lol
Have you entered the competition the pose with Barassi and the 1964 Premiership Cup yet lol...

Your response actually mades some sense until your crap attempt at a smart comment.
Neeld was a good get, although think Melbourrne could ve gotten Ross Lyon if they werent waiting for him to return their invitation for a coffee... Misson - fantastic get. Exactly what a young list needs to harden them up. However, wouldnt you want the person who is overseeing the Club to actually know how to coach a team to a Flag... Essendon are on the right track by having Bomber Thompson oversee Hird and co. Dont know how someone who actually chose to recruit Richard Tambling will go...

No doubt, but on the back of our coaching appointments (particularly Misson and Craig in the performance management sector) and coaching attitude (see Neeld) I think we can expect a fair bit of improvement.

I expected us to make finals in 2012 at the beginning of this year, I still think we should expect that.

You may well. Someone like Misson, I don't reckon you'll see his full value for at least two years. But having Craig and Neeld is very good.

I think some guys - Trengove springs to mind - will respond hugely and immediately to them.

I didn't want Lyon and most Melbourne didn't either and that includes G.Lyon, his gameplan is the most boring negative crap ever to be played, even worse than his mentor Roos and thats saying something.

don't doubt that at all. it will take a few more years

Would you entertain having Fev in the forward line ?

True, his gameplan is crap, but it gets results. So you d prefer playing flashy, entertaining footy and losing rather then playing some drab, defensive footy and winning. The Swans won a flag playing the Roos way, and the Saints nearly did so twice as well. Melbourne has a great young defence (when they re all on the park at the same time), but not such a good forward line. It would ve been perfect for Lyon.

He's also the guy who was responsible for the disciplined system and structure that allowed us to systematically destroy the Blues for many years beforehand.

How quickly they forget.

It aint 2005, and having some hard bodied premiership players running around would ve helped... He hasnt got that at his disposal at Melbourne.

You come across as a very jealous person. Hug?

Don't see how people could bag us for hiring Craig. Need to understand his role and between he and Misson we should have a first class training regime. The work Lyon, Schwab and co have done so far has been great. I know Schwab has his knockers but surely he has redeemed himself if he needed to

You seem to be convinced that Craig is the coach - he isn't. Mark Neeld is. So stop trying to rubbish the appointment with your completely, and utterly, wrong thoughts.

Craig is there to oversee sports performance which allows Neeld and the coaches to concentrate on coaching. He might mentor Neeld and so forth but it will be Neelds gameplan, not Craigs.

I didn't realise this was so hard to understand.
