If they were consistent, they should have protested about the removal of every one of the gum trees around Lyndoch oval.
After all, a tree is a tree no matter where it is right?

Drove around thebbie yesterday and the project is now full steam ahead. Focus has now shifted to oval and changing its orientation and what looks like creating new access road off Ashley Avenue. Lots of work on terraces particularly behind river Torrens end goals. There must have been up to 10 earth moving vehicles in operation

Honestly feel bad if you were campaigning for this wasteland.
I work in the vicinity so I drive past this place most days, barely a soul ever there, its a joke it took so long to get across the line.
Traffic on Ashwin Parade is a pain in the arse at the best of times due to the horribly designed carpark and signage at the Brickworks, I hope the entrance is going to be on Ashley Street instead.

The poles could be, given they were only installed in 2011/12 from memory.
I doubt the lights would be, as they'd be replaced with LED's

As training was not on today I went to the new facility and it was a hive of industry. Huge numbers of earth movers and trucks on old oval and surrounds. Road from Ashley street is now very obvious into facility. Eastern mound has disappeared except for small area around majestic gum tree. Things are powering along. Northern end of oval looking flatter and ready for transition to playing field
