Hey Ross,

Regarding that achievement/trophy for beating a Big Ant employee, the great idea that it is, is it viral on a bigger scale? Like, 'beat a Big Ant employee, or someone who already has'?

Or is it strictly for beating one of you guys one-on-one, if so, that's gonna be a bloody tricky feat to manage.

I wonder how the player ratings work will it be similar to 2k's? -L.James 97, D.williams 89, C.Bosh 83 or will it be like the old AFL games (no ratings, just shows a bars that has ratings of kicking, speed, marking etc)

That would be sick, I remember in MW2 there was a title called STD and you had to get it by stabbing someone who already had the title.

I doubt that the highest ranked player will be 98, I would have thought that if Ablett was the highest ranked player he would be around 93ish

The AFL has lot of good players so the ratings should be higher- players like mark lecras, cyril rioli, paul chapman, nick dal santo would be high 80's

players like sam fisher, joel corey, jobe watson, boomer harvey would be mid 80's

players like luke power, mitch clarke would be low 80's

I can't bothered going on......

anyway these are not accurate just quick thoughts

Yeah, just because a particular player is the best in the AFL at the moment, doesn't mean they're perfect and deserve a perfect rating. The likes of Messi and Ronaldo, both the best in the world at the moment, only reach low 90s. Mid 90s at best.

98 is not a perfect rating (99 is)-

I'm using a rating system similar to the NBA games where players like lebron, kobe and wade are rated 97, 97 and 96 repectively.

The system has elite players 90+, all star caliber players 85+, good players 80+ and it goes on.

(and I'm Miami Thrice because of the Miami heat lebron, bosh, wade)

After the siren
Kick a goal after the siren to win a match

Run and Carry
Run the ball down the field bouncing the ball at least 5 times

Ready to play
Complete all training exercises

I didn't actually see the avatar as you've changed it again, but was it an image of a trophy/achievement that we can earn by winning a game vs bigant staff online?

Exactly. (The avatar is a "badge" like the old school round ones with player's faces on them.

Your ratings are superfluous though.

Ratings at the end of the day shouldn't just be "OK well obviously X player has to be 98 so let's manipulate the attributes to get to that number".

The overall rating number of players should simply be to rate every player on their individual attributes as accurately as possibly and whatever numbers and players come out on top, that's the way it goes. It tends to be why some players in FIFA have what others would consider "overrated" overall's when if you look at it more in-depth they're just very efficient at a few specific categories that end up rating them higher.

Obviously he is not mentioning anything for a reason, surely you figured this by now? WE have to put it to rest if there is no answer/confirmation...
