I like them both, but the one on the jumper will not age, the other one will in 10 or 20 years time be outdated I think.

Wasn't the Geelong logo (Not the one on the jumper) made by the same guys who did the Hawthorn and Richmond logo, I am probably wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere.

All the more reason to make the one on the jumper their main logo! It is so much better haha

Is there a watermark on the photo or is there a faint MFC monogram on the new Melbourne jumper?

Guernsey%20ATH%20MFC.jpg

The watermark does not seem to run through the logos, therefore seems to be on the guernsey itself.

No point in screen shotting it as it wont be big enough as a single picture, but go to the AFL website.
On the new sliding panel it has a picture that has Luke Hodge, Jared McVeigh and Gary Ablett for the 'Welcome to the new site' article.
Anyway, I swear I can see a watermark of a hawk on Hodge's Puma top...

Tigerland55 sorry mate, I don't see it, but there is a watermark on the 2013 Hawks adidas guernsey.
Here's the photo that your talking about for reference:

Not having a go at you NM, but this is something that needs to be clarified as there is a big difference.

Hawthorn do not have a watermark on their guernseys, the have an embossed image.

Embossed = creating an image by molding a design on (a surface) so that it stands out in relief, no added colours, design is purely created through the molding (Hawthorn)

Watermark = A faint design made during manufacture by printing directly onto the fabric, usually made by using a slightly darker or lighter colour (Melbourne, this seasons Brisbane heritage)

Thanks for clearing that up mate! Will remember that :thumbsu:

Why can't they F the opera house off and just have a proper V!?
Because the opera house represents Sydney and the Vee represents South Melbourne. Perfect balance IMO.
