I can see an issue if they wear this gold jumper away to GWS

Of course, silly me, long day. Play the Dees & Richmond within a few weeks, then Geelong (which they'll wear brown shorts). Still, not as regular as I'd have hoped.Based on that, away games at the G should still be home/white shorts
Maybe not a clash, though a poor contrast (see Sydney vs GWS).I can see an issue if they wear this gold jumper away to GWS

John was 5 when Hawthorn wore this jumper and it was for one year only. While it's a nice throwback, I can't see why it's a "Legends Guernsey" when the design wasn't worn by the player in question ala John Coleman & Essendons Grey "Heritage" guernseyAs earlier mentioned by TheExtractorFactor (and obviously last July? on the FJGD board) the Hawks 'Legends' guernsey has officially been unveiled. Quoting the article on the Hawks website:
Interesting that it's replacing the Gold-on-Brown Away jumper the Hawks have been wearing since 2013, especially when it was though to be only a Clash jumper and the GoB would be staying, but it's going to be replacing both. Nice move from the Hawks in my opinion - it's a great design and will contrast against the other teams really well

Legends is going to be a Brand, or type of jumper.John was 5 when Hawthorn wore this jumper and it was for one year only. While it's a nice throwback, I can't see why it's a "Legends Guernsey" when the design wasn't worn by the player in question ala John Coleman & Essendons Grey "Heritage" guernsey
Or I'm looking too hard at it

I imagine the brown inverse would have worked.
Kennet on patrol lol
wonder if he has ever played a pokies machinePiss off Jeff. Positive response mostly so far and you will be gone in a years time.
Essendon could invert their colours, and add the thinnest of thin red stripes through the black sash. The result would be constitutionally satisfactory (a red sash on a [partially] black guernsey.)
This is pretty much it.Maybe off-season will have some more movement, maybe it will be slower. Teams are hitting the sweet-spot with their jumpers and changing is pretty useless
This is pretty much it.
For example, West Coast has had a massive shakeup over the last couple of years, but they finally got it right in 2018. So barring sponsor or manufacture changes, or template changes, I wouldn't want to see any changes for a long time. A lot of clubs are in this boat.
I agree - but that's sponsors, not the jumper design/logo etc. And I did say "barring sponsor changes".Got it right in 2018 then fell off the wagon again in 2019 by losing SGIO and having HJ demand a logo change.
There's still one jumper change required (see picture at left)Personally I wouldn’t be that worried if this thread was quiet if it meant every team had a perfect set of jumpers and never changed them. Maybe we’re finally getting closer to that point.
