No List Manager is going to want to work under Liddle trying to recruit players behind your back, until Liddle is sacked and walked out that door all we are getting is a Bolton type appointment.

I strongly doubt this.

We have been fed a very SOS-centric side of the story, and the club will have their own version events and Liddle will have his reasoning for meeting with players without SOS’ knowledge.

It doesn’t make what Liddle did right, but anyone being sounded out will be brought up to speed with the situation, and given guarantees they’ll have their own autonomy.

Going to be a bit hard to get a good replacement given how SOS was treated and undermined
Don't know about you TCP by I am absolutely disgusted how SOS has been treated.
I have supported this club all my life ( I am 64) and I must admit I am having difficulty retaining my positivity and passion.
I suppose time will tell.

I'm very much the same. It shows that it is still a boys club at the top who would rather exert their influence rather than doing whats best for the club. To treat a club legend and someone who turned this club around to show us fans the light after decades of poor performances, is disgusting.

..and there are only 18 list managers jobs !!

They'll be falling over themselves to get the gig as Carlton list manager.

It's a primed list (thanks to SOS), a big club and a great time to take over.

My sentiments exactly. They tell lies, plain and simple. They are disbanding the old maffia and creating a new one. (Rinse and repeat) And by lies, I mean they talk about culture, unity, bound by blue. All words that no one lives by IMO. There is nothing unified about our club, never has been, never will be (sadly).

Replacement hard to find after how we treated sos who’s got good relationships with all list boss across the comp

replacement will be hard to find regardless.........sos did a great job - who says we have to recruit one of the other club's list managers?

A few names I was thinking about today as possible candidates:

Terry Wallace ~ ok probably not my first choice but an interesting name.

2 names that the tanned one insisted on bringing to Richmond (coaches pick) Richard Tambling & Jordan McMahon
Need i say more

TerryWallet... I hope you are sitting down....

Considering Liddle shafted SoS , Maybe he wants to bring his best mate across

Is that what Woody Allen is doing now?

The issue is that the guns will not want a job where they are interfered with. And whatever you think about the current situation, and rights and wrongs, there has undoubtedly been interference.

The really good ones adapt and looking in from the outside Wells has done that a lot of times. Considering the insane amount of top ups and lack of decent picks it’s clear he takes advice from coaches on what they want.

Hines from Collingwood also, he assembled the youngest GF team since Melbourne in 58 and then clearly worked with the coaches to rebuild again.

I hope for someone who knows what they’re doing, is strong in their thoughts and processes but works collaboratively towards a common goal.

The time for being a hardarse and continuously bringing in kids should be over

We don't need the other side of the story, it is already broadcast to the entire world we have a CEO who wants to stick his nose in where it isn't wanted and influence List Management decisions. Anyone who takes the role on will do so knowing decisions will be taken out of their hands if it suits because the last guy was a club legend and when he said no we sacked him.

No one worth a pinch of salt is coming, we will get yes man for liddle and co that just wants the job for the check not to improve our list.

I reckon every list manager in the comp would have a very good idea of the personality type that SOS is....not fussed in the slightest, if a list manager wants a new challenge they will be very interested in what we’ve done and where we want to be

Collaboration with the coaching staff and football department is very, very different to interference from outside the football department
