I blame the female sex for the emasculation of males.

May mentions hobbies, men who have hobbies don't get laid, no girl will put out for a guy who is building a racing kart in his garage, they think its sad. So blokes don't take up hobbies.

Men used to love being the gentleman, fixing, attending to women's needs, letting them take a back seat while they be the "knight", but half the time if you try to do this infront of a woman she'll say "Hey! I'm not useless! I can do it myself" so the male lets her do it.

Males used to be dignified in public, quietly confident yet masculine, till in the 21st century males noticed hot girls on the arms of arseholes who were loud, drunken, disorderly, abusive, abrasive. Females decided after a while they didn't want men who were quiet, they wanted men who treat them like shit and are cocky, so what happened? Men became cocky drunken shits.

If females are dissapointed in the fallacies of the 21st century male, its their own ****ing doing.

Maybe they were talking about men who swing both ways and get things put up their arse?
What's wrong with a man putting stuff up their arse? I do it everytime I go on an international "holiday". And as we speak, 50% of the population of Pentridge, Jika Jike, and Barwon and walking around with stuff in their arse.

You seem a little close minded....and gay.

I don't entirely understand what he's getting at. The bit he does mention...

He said: "The decline of practical skills, some of them very day-to-day, among a generation of British men is very worrying - they can't put up a shelf, wire a plug, countersink a screw, iron a shirt.
Is that really true? I find it hard to believe that any adult male who's moved out of home can't do those things. In fact, I think we're better, because we can also do things like cooking and cleaning and stuff that previously was considered "women's work".

Just because May specialises in playing an endearingly clueless muppet on his TV show doesn't mean that's what people are actually like. Or at least, no moreso than they've been for centuries.

"They believe it is endearing and cute to be useless whereas I think it's boring and everyone's getting sick of it."

I tend to agree a little bit. Even my mates who are late 20s think the new induction of men (well pretend men really) are pretty useless.

this is true, but metro man-scaped ponces get the hot chicks so I cant see anything changing for the better anytime soon

It seems we are (generally speaking) in a transitional phase between the liberation of women and women still finding men who do everything for them attractive, as well as men adjusting to women doing things for themselves, but not adjusting to having to do the things women used to do.

Most women of our generation are third-wave feminists, in the sense that they are more accepting of traditional gender roles as long as they're entered into freely.

For example I would never expect my girlfriend or wife to take on the cooking duties in a house. However, I am a fairly ordinary cook at the best of times, and my girlfriends tend to enjoy it, so that tends to be be the way the cards fall. Likewise they tend to hate messing around with cars and DIY stuff, whereas I love that sort of thing.

In previous decades, the idea of a male taking on a traditional male role might be taken as an implication that the female is incapable. Nowadays, as long as they're not forced roles, it's just seen as a sensible mutually-agreed division of labour.

Kudos Caesar...living the dream!
