I don't think Sharp and Bain are good enough to be 25 and 26 respectively. Both very much outside players who don't show a lot of hardness in their game and both refuse to play man on man football.

Dean Polo may not go that high either, he is yet to fill his frame and may not be ready physically for AFL football for another year or two.

Jesse D. Smith and Brent Prismall are two players that will almost certainly be picked up that you have failed to mention. Both were among Vic Metros better players during the National Championships.

Why does everyone believe Sheedy will draft Blumfield at 44 ? The last bloke that Sheedy invited to do the preseason at Essendon and then drafted was Shane Heard. In any case 44 will be used on a kid and 56 or whatever is next probably will be as well. Sheedy will then drop one of the unsigned players from the list prior to the PSD. It is not in Essendon's interest to even think about blumfield yet.

I think that Essendon needs to pick up a kid at 44 to. Maybe then they might pick up Blumfield at 56. And Blumfiled isn't doing preseason training ewith Essendon, no player has been invited yet.

footy fan i agree with you i dont think bain and sharp will go that high, but i belive that outside players are more important in our modern game than inside players. I was told by an AFL player that AFL football is a easier standard than TAC cup because it is all about finding space and getting by yourself to recive the football! You are playing on the best grounds in the country and you have much more time and space to move around in! Therefore i think while they dont deserve to be drafted as high as the hard working in and under quailty players in the competition, sharp will go 1st round and bain 2nd round

all i have to say is where is jesse d smith?????? BOG in the premiership team, and best and fairest in the premiership team, what more can he do??? u got no idea

Go easy, u have a go at it.

FWIW, I think Jesse D will get picked up but very, very late. Would not surprise me to see North get him. Now that would be confusing!

I hope you're wrong re Picioane!! Awful awful player who does not deserve to wear blue and white!!
YOTR, I think you left out an extra awful.

I will be spitting chips if North uses one of their picks on him, regardless how late it is. Would prefer a pass!

James Podsiadly with the Swans last pick. He might be somewhat of a chance and is training there this week. Strong and mature KPP ready to go. Could be a draft surprise.

I have heard that Bate is a very big chance to go to the crows at 8, they are flying him over to Adelaide to have a serious chat with him!! Too bad if Collingwood wanted him at 10!!

i would have thought it would have been more practical to fly over and see him in melbourne. thats what normally happens IMO. i dont they'd make a guy finishing off year 11 go to adelaide for 1-2days to see the coach and recruiting guy.

Footydraft.com now has him at 10...who says he can't go 2 picks earlier? There are queries over monfies size & pace, maybe adelaide are more interested in bate as he is more versitile, in that he can play forward or back!

Don't be suprised if he does go at pick 8, thats all i'm saying!

If they could cope at Calder, then they can cope at North.
