Yes same. Sit in section H. Angle on the old screen is just a bit too much to be bothered looking at.
Did it look any good? Better than the old?
Looking forward to Sat night. Love the night games.

I was down the northern end and yes the resolution was good but I did think it could be a little bigger.
)....it does help with seeing play....but I am in the habit of craning my neck round to check it out, so it will be a matter of getting used to having that new one up there....that is also where the only time clock was working as well, so one had to look at it!I don't think it's too bad, however it tends to make things look too wide.
But the one thing that really bugs me about AAMI Stadium is the useless stats they show in the breaks. Who cares what minute a goal was kicked? Not me, I'd much rather see useful stats like inside 50s, frees, contested possessions etc they do it everywhere else why not AAMI?
What's the point in spending a couple of million on a big screen that is smaller than a bee's schlong?

Agreed.
All the new stadiums around the world are going for the 'widescreen' look (see Soldier Field and University of Phoenix stadium). We had the space to do such a screen at AAMI and to be innovators in Australia, but obvious cost and reluctance to try something revolutionary (see VP racecourse debacle) were inevitable stumbling blocks.
But we did build retractable light towers....

Screen seemed quite clear but is no way big enough. Im over AAMI anyway. Knock the place down and build a Telstra dome in the city!![]()
