New Sub-Forum?

Due to the increased popularity of one of our best players I propose a Sub-Forum, or shrine if you will, be created in honor of this great AFC champion.

With key features of his game including:

• Uncomprimisingly tough football
• Courage
• Consistancy
• Contested Marking

....... and most of all..........

• Power Running

He has become a ledgend of the club, a hero in the eyes of children, something to aspire to for our promising young footballers.

Respected in the eyes of team mates, feared in the eyes of the opposition and loved by all.

I propose we open the:

Luke 'Mad Dog Jezza' Jericho Sub-Forum

Now I know all players have the locker room, but one forum isn't enough for Mad Dog, he has simply power ran out of room their and cannot be contained.

Since the day he was drafted into the tri-colours I have marvelled at the way he moves, some say like a gazell, like Barassi used to, at the way he throws his body into anything that dare lay in his path, so much so, Jonathan Brown cowars at the sight of Mad Dog's shadow. His consistancy can be described as impecable, players like Tyson Edwards aim at Mad Dog's ability to give 100% week in week out.

Goals flood in, 60 out, on the boundary, threw the middle.

Bones break as he crashes into packs with reckless abandon.

Mad Dog, Jezza, Luke. You are what we love about this game, you are what we strive to be. you have replaced Michael Jordan on the top of athletic stars not just in Australia but the world.

You are Luke Mad Dog Jezza Jericho

And we love you for it.

I start a petition for this sub forum immediately, as the locker room can take no more!

I think, while this sub-forum is a huge honor for Jericho, the SANFL should take a leaf out of the MCC's book and start immortalising statues of our games' greats around AAMI Stadium.

In about 18 or 19 hours time his career at the AFC should be taken off life support. About 4 o’clock tomorrow the crows may issue a press release outline their delisting for 2008.
