Next four games.

Im thinking we win 2 out of the 4, as long as we are competitve against the hawks and doggies so their confidence is'nt shattered, then the boys apply themselves for the others two games we should come away with a couple of wins.

doggies are a good chance to be beaten they made horrendous mistakes today and slaughtered the ball at times.

hawthorn no chance

freo 50/50

melbourne should be a win.

if we are going for the tank again this year ill be pretty livid.

Not trying to troll or sound cocky or anything. But why do people constantly underrate the Dogs.

Freo were favourite round 1 - Smashed them. North are our bogey side - Beat them. Tigers had to really win and were tipped by a few on here - Played bad and smashed them.

Im sorry but I dont really see your mob bouncing back to beat a Real flag contender on a ground they really dont mind playing. This week was pretty average from you guys. Although I dont think it will be a belting 4-5 goals at the least should be expected from both sets of supporters.

You will go down to Hawthorn then belt Freo to prove a point. Then Melbourne should be easy beats and 3-4 isn't that bad a start

yeah i fully agree, the dogs were good last year but it was more a preview that in the coming years they'll be serious contenders for the flag. and they've always played well against us, even beating us at subi in our premiership year, although i don't think it'll be another repeat of saturday, it'll be a 5-6 goal loss. and yeah hawthorn finally found their feet sunday, if we played them in the first two rounds i might've agreed we would've had a chance, but not anymore. part of me is saying we will smash freo to prove a point, but freo are very annoying lately, playing trribly all year except western derbies, where they look like a top four team. i just really hope we beat them, i can't stand seeing them beat us. and demons we will beat them, there's no excuse for what happened late last year, but now it's at subi, and we're better than we were last year. so yeah we'll be 3-4 or 2-5.

Honestly if we cant beat Fremantle and Melbourne I dont know where this season is heading, being 1/2 and 7 is barely an improvement on last year and taking into account the rest of our games we could be looking at a 12-13th finish which IMO is abismall for a team with little to no injury concerns and allot of premiership players running around.

We need to be competetive against the Bulldogs and Hawthorn and snatch those two wins against Fremantle and Melbourne so we can set ourselves up this year and not have to be behind the 8 ball all season. Teams like Richmond, Brisbane and Carlton who finished from 9th - 11th were still competetive against the premiership contenders.

Bulldogs (H) LOSS - Because it is at home it gives us a slight sniff but the doggies are running fast and are playing well at this stage and with a good win over at Subi already in 2009 they have no fear of the ground. Bulldogs by 21 points.

Hawks (A) LOSS - We just cant stop Franklin, Roughead, Rioli, Williams and their crew.... They looked like they woke up yesterday Vs the Roos and while games between the 2 at Tassie have been close I just cant see us beating them. I think we will put in a better effort than Vs StKilda but Hawks just warming up.... Hawthorn by 34 points.

Freo (H) LOSS - Become (along with Port and Essendon) are bogey side of recent times. They love playing us and they will fire up because they will be 0-4 (face it they play StKilda at the Dome so they will lose) Pav has been quiet all year so its about time he fired up and he does against us and we will let these nobodies like Peake, Gilmore and Crowley run free like normal. Anyones game... WOULD LOVE TO BEAT FREO... but... Fremantle by 5 points.

Melbourne (H) - WIN (SURELY!!) I went to Port v Melbourne yesterday and Port weren;t that great but Melbourne skills were pretty bad under little pressure. If we could even half the effort we did against Port we should have a win here. West Coast by 19 points.

So I think that after round 7 we will be 2-5 which (I feel) is about where we are. If we are any more than that we have done brilliantly! Less and thats dissapointing.

Agree with the number of wins/losses but disagree with your margins. I expect one blow out agaimst bulldogs or Hawks

Jeebus, there are some positive people around here

Dogs - Loss
Hawks - Loss
Freo - Win
Melbourne - Win.

THATS if we are lucky and can play like we did against port. It would help also if Freo and Melbourne play like Port did. ie with disinterest and no real commitment.
We simply dont have the talent or depth ATM to push the Dogs. Even a young Hawk outfit will easily outplay us at home. I hope Im wrong but....... nah, no chance of me being wrong;)

I cant speak for the other teams supporters, but I think we are just trying to put up arguements as to why we could win the game against you guys.

Away game, short break, Cooney out etc. No one here thinks it is a certainty, or even more than likely. We are just looking for reasons to believe, like supporters do.

I have tipped you in all three games and will tip you again this week.

Three wins four losses I can live with TBH.

Bump.

We should be 4-3 after 7 rounds, seriously. Pity we dropped the Brisbane game..

I agree; that 1 quarter cost us against Brisbane. Still if we play like we did today (and against Port) we will beat Freo, Melb and the Hawks. Hawks away will be a test as will Freo as they always seem to lift for us.

The difficulties next week are the 6 day break, in Tassie coming off a game in that heat with that level of effort against the reigning premier on the rebound from a bad loss.

I wouldnt be surprised if we struggle to get up for the game next week. If we can, and if we can bring todays level of intensity, we can go with most sides.

I guess now is the best time to take on the Hawks (even though they're coming off a bad loss). I think we'll struggle to back up after todays game as it would take a lot out of them. But, if we DID happen to knock off the Hawks then all of a sudden we have Freo at home and Melbourne away. A very good chance to be 5-2 really.

Bumped.

Well it we beat Hawthorn in Tas, by rights we should roll Harveys headless chooks and Melbourne at home.

Should, yer.

But Pav will probably have the game of his lifetime and slaughter us the bastard.

Wouldn't mind seeing Naitanui debut against them. Show up Hill.
