This is my side for next week.

B: Hayden Haddrill Woods
HB: Grover Polak Koops
C: Headland Hasleby Haines
HF: T. Longmuir Croad Carr
F: Medhurst J. Longmuir Farmer

R: Simmonds Pavlich Bell

I: Sandilands Cook McManus Browne

Can't wait for McPharlin and Parker to come back. The best thing is McPharlin, Polak, Grover, Hayden and Haddrill are all 22 years of age or younger. We will have a very good backline in a few years.

I noticed you have Croad & Koops back.... but me gets the feeling Andrew Seigert will be there aswell , McManus may be kicking footys in a blue & white jumper this week

Fair enough Croad in, but I was far from impressed with Koops game for the Cardies last week. Do you class him as an automatic selection?. Siegert may have edged in front of him.

Kenny has dropped Walker and Schammer, ok (Schammer's done ok, still learning).

For the anti McManus league, he does his job and is an easy target, but from the vibes I get from the coaching staff he is a required player this season and he aint played to badly yet. Give credit where it is due, if he got 3 Brownlow votes in a game, some would still call for his axing.

Ah I feel better now.

Things are getting tight in the Freo midfield dept. McManus is probably the one with the least polished skills Seigert I feel is a good negating player and is more accountable for his opponent. Who else would you drop instead of McManus????????

Yeah, I am a huge fan of Schammers', he just needs to develop his game in the WAFL, and slowly nurtured into AFL football. I'll be happy if he gets selected, but for his sake I think it might be better playing in the WAFL for some weeks He is only 17, and still has a lot to learn.

And regarding McManus, I know he's done OK and stuff but I wouldn't want to see Haines or Browne dropped before him. They are very promising players and will be a part of our future, I'm sure. And he still does lack some decision making errors and skill errors and he isn't very accountable. But yeah, its nice to see he is playing much better than in 2001.

And no, I don't really class Koops an automatic selection (in my best 22, I'd have him on the bench), and I didn't get to watch his performance in the WAFL last week so I can't comment on that... but a mate of mine saw it and said he was pretty decent. But yeah, I think Koops can be pretty dangerous, has good pace and good disposal, but sometimes makes stupid decisions.

Wasn't Koops out suspended for West Perth vs Claremont or were you referring to the Rd 2 WAFL game vs East Perth?

Another thing we have been overlokking aswell is Lukey Toia. The guy has been at fire at Subi this season thus far. This is his make or break season ... This is it for him. CC rarely picks him so he to be really on top of his game.... maybe this week he may get a look in
