Sainters!
Saints need this..

Ruckman obviously. Ackland and Blake are second stringers at best, we can't get Knobel or Everitt back so this is the saints number one area.

Speedy semi tall utilities x2 at least. By this i mean in the 185-190cm range with speed to burn. Sydney for example have plenty of these types, we have Montagna and Fiora and Fiora isn't all that quick. Xavier Clarke can play this role to some degree but i'd rather a more bulky speedy type. We missed Heath Blacks run this year badly...

No offense to any of our midfielders but they are all slow. Sometimes you just need a couple of speed demons thrown in the middle to break open the lines and run. Montagna will have to step up further next year into that role but again we the saints need to draft at least 2 more of these types.

Tall KPP groomed for defense. We need another player to help out down back. Hudghton is the right age to take someone under his wing and teach them the ropes.

Forward line structure. Hope to see Koschitzke and Milne playing out of the square next year. These 2 leading in differant directions would cause a nightmare for the opposition backmen. Riewoldt needs a good pre-season, hopefully put on a few kilos.

So my summary is this,

Forward line is sweet. Koschitzke and Milne to terrorize out of the goalsquare, Riewoldt to gain some meat and muscle and own CHF.
Midfield must recruit a ruckman either used and VERY acomplished(no second rate hasbeen) and between 2 to 4 SPEEDY midfielders.
Backline - Need one brand spanking new kid in the 190-195cm range to fill a key stopping role.

players whos future looks shaky,

Guerra - To slow, not fit enough.
Shwarze - GT shows him no respect.
Blake - to short to ruck, not good enough to play KPP.
Goddard - He has got one hope in this side. Do reflex work bigtime over the summer, his thought process is far to slow for AFL footy. He must think and use the ball quicker and smarter. Now hes a lovely kick and decent mark but his ball usage has been atrocious this year overall. To slow for the midfield and not tall or fast enough to play defense. Half forward is his spot next to Riewoldt, if he cannot play that position then he should be traded.
Brooks - Can't get a game.
Stone - Delist.
Aussie Jones - Frontrunner who plays defense who has poor defensive skills. His kicking by foot is sublime but i believe the saints are better off developing someone else who is has more presence in defense and who is more acountable.
Powell - Had few good games this year, is slow. Now i like the guy, hes tough and hard at it but didn't recapture last years form. Needs to reassess things.

Hope to play on,

Thomo - He gives 100% each week. Always puts extreme pressure on whoever hes tagging, good enough for me.
Harvey - To good not to go another year.

Question mark - Gehrig - I love him to bits but i think it's time Kosi learned FF role, Kosi has more tricks up his sleeve, not so one dimensional and is harder to man up on. He wants to retire so it may work out best for both sides.

Finally,

Raphael Clarke - He's similar to Goddard but hes still new to the caper. One thing is for sure, if he's going to play defense, MAN UP. He like Goddard needs to work on his reflexes as currently AFL is to fast for him.

Gwilt - Hes got balls, i like him, fast as well, i expect good things from him next year.
