Academy NGA draft prospects revealed : 2019

Given he has done his ACL would Lions still want him?
I think he goes undrafted and we get him as a Category B rookie.

Brisbane don’t see injuries as a negative usually.

We drafted Sam Skinner after he did his ACL, Witherden when he broke his leg, Tom Joyce after he had his hips shaved because of bone spurs.

Lions academy kid, Noah Cumberland did his ACL last year, and has looked good this year.

We have nominated Johnson for the rookie draft, which means we’ve had conversations with him, and he’s open to joining us.

There you have it Lore. I had even made comments in this thread about the NGA academies.


Apparently some people are quite upset that our Bombers have been able to add Josh Eyre (Kilmore FNC) who managed to play 8 games at NAB level for the Cannons. Has had his ups and downs but the super talented 194cm tall fwd is one to wtch in 2020 apparently.

Add to that we have Cody Brand who played the majority of the season with the Cannons also and we could be set for a nice little haul at the 2020 draft.

Even Max Fletcher (father/son) is listed at 192cm and nominates CHF as his preferred position which is nice as well.
