One of my mates did all the smart person subjects that scale to mammoth proportions (French, English, chem, specialist etc); I did subjects that barely scaled (literature, further, methods, bio, psych, software dev and one more I think). He's a hell of a lot smarter than I am and did very well, but I did really well on the "easier subjects". I got 96.95, he got 96.75, so the scaling system doesn't even work like it's supposed to.Dumb system.
You just think you're sooooooo smart getting your 95+.

If a kid is much more creative, and so he does music, media, drama etc. then he's automatically at a disadvantage to most other kids. Even if he gets 45ish in each subject, they get scaled down below 40, it happened with me in music
That's the major gripe I have with it.
