The only way he gets the oil is if someone takes power in Venezuela, which will almost certainly be someone from within the regime, and agrees to his demands.
Perhaps the primary focus, not the only focus.

Craig the elephant and I have corresponded as pen pals since I was 8. I asked him what he thought of last night's events and he was very forthright and unequivocal in his praise for the American action.
He has skin in the game, I am very happy for him. Let's hope this leads to a return to democracy and a weakening of the cartels which have aa but destroyed the country.

Had Venezuelan workmate who didn't like Maduro all that much but he said any Americans "bringing democracy" could potentially just be another Iraq. There are a lot of weapons and armed groups already in the region because of the nearby Colombian insurgency.
The other potential blowback is it emboldens Russia in Ukraine and China in Taiwan
Maduro should've just bribed the US like the Honduran president who got 45 years for drug trafficking but got pardoned.

How are we so bad at playing spin?
Too many dot balls putting our team under pressure.
As great as Marsh is he faces a lot of dot balls and turns 2s into 1s a lot. Faced nearly half an innings of dot balls today and also didn't hit a single two.
T20s are won by teams that make the most of as many balls as possible. That's consistent singles, turning 1s into 2s and hitting boundaries. People tend to focus on only the boundaries but unless the pitch is a highway a lot more than that goes into making a good score.

But hearing West Aussie commentators saying Darby annoys me.
