Further to earlier postings on here re the irrelevance of one G. Cornes - he was just on AA dribbling utter rubbish about boards & had to be corrected by Tredrea more than once. Why do AA keep trotting out yesterday's heroes who are barely connected to the game anymore.

Anyone see our favourite blind goal umpire on the weekend? Might have been the Port game, can't remember, but the ball went through the goals and there was like a half a metre gap to the post. Easiest call you will ever see. Not only did the blind idiot have to call a review, he didn't even have his own call on it and had to ask the other umpires in the area. I've never seen that before. The guy is truly terrible at his job.

As I mentioned at the time, go easy on the AFL as they have employed a visioned impaired umpire as part of their social inclusion policy.

Dunstall just hit the nail on the head on On the Couch regarding Port. Stated that they have overrated their list which is average outside of their three midfielders and Houston. He particularly highlighted that their KPPs are average-below average and can't take them above what they are.

Granted, Ken has been there for too long and a fresh start is needed, but I don't think their fortunes will change much as their list still has too many holes in it.

But Ken has stated it’s the best squad he’s had at his disposal. Boy how to put a nail in your coffin

Ken will leave their list in a much worst state as he inherited them. Sure they have Rozee, Butters and JHF but he had Boak and Gray in their prime who will both be Port Power's top 5 players in history and an emerging Wingard. Trading overrated players despite not even needing them just because they wanted to come to "destination club" and just giving up the picks the other clubs wanted for those missing links has stuff their list. Pick 10 for an unproven Dixon, 1st and 2nd rounders for Ryder, 2nd and 3rd rounders for a cooked Fantasia.

Port's squad peaked in 2020. They had developing Rozee and Butters; Dixon, Wines and Houston in their prime; the experience of Boak, Ebert and Gray and reasonable depth

They completely blew that year and their list
