Who are you comparing him to? Against McHenry and Murphy, he's elite. To the average AFL footballer, he's well below par.

Yeah that's not valuing Showdown wins over finals though. That's celebrating a win against a rival despite the fact that someone tries to play down its significance, and I think even most pretty negative fans will do that to some degree.

I still think those people would generally prefer to make finals over winning Showdowns.

There’s definitely some out there, hell even some of our coaches have gone down the win at all costs vs plan for the future and improve your chances of making finals on the back of that.
