I think I hate Hawthorn more than Geelong. It's a tough call though.

Pretty minor, fine for Smith for rough conduct and another to Impey for staging.

No staging he was blind sided.

Half the problem is the AFL haven't worked out how to coordinate 4 field umpires. Go back to 3 with a rotating 4th on the bench.

The issue isn't the 4th umpire providing better coverage, it's inconsistent umpiring and umps not even sure if it's their turn to adjudicate.

Perfect example is Dawson being done for inadvertently knocking the ball out of the GWS players hands after marking - 50m penalty

The identical infringement reversed later in the game was completely ignored

It doesn’t matter who’s closest, they should all adjudicate if they’re confident they’ve seen an infringement.
